“Pet friendly” hotel but cats not accepted; not even ESAs.

They gave me lowest view room at first and change with nice pool view after complaints.
And they confused one bed and two beds and i need to bring all my stuff again.
At 11pm there was a crazy party at next door and when we complained they asked me to move to another room... that was crazy.
Finally they send a safety gard and make them close party and be quiet.. but overall service was unsatisfied.
And they charge 40 bucks per day even for guest.. quite expensive. They are not universal studio something.. not expected.

My check in experience was a little strange. I was told to move my car far away from the entrance when I had take my luggage out to check in because the hotel was filming something. The room was extremely dirty and was obvious it was not thoroughly inspected or cleaned. The towels had a dried up brown substance on them and the ironing board was covered in a white powder. The fridge was extremely dirty and had to call the front desk twice to have it cleaned. Unfortunately it was not cleaned until 2 days later resulting in my snacks going bad. Overall this was extremely disappointing and shocking especially from a Hyatt hotel.

We loved our room and the pool area is nice. The pool opens at 8am, but they don't have any staff onsite for the slides until 11am which was a disappointment for the kiddos and impressing the kiddos, trumps everything.
The ordered Market items and restaurant are extremely over-priced as well. Next time we'll stay and eat out locally.

Everything was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable and very nice. We used the valet service and it was worth it. The restaurant inside has really good food and the market was fully stocked with anything you may need. I would stay here again my next trip to Irvine.

This is our second trip to the hotel in 3 months. I believe this used to be the Hotel Irvine but was bought by Hyatt Regency. The family has found this property to be incredibly beautiful and convenient to Irvine Spectrum and even Disneyland. We like the small cafe and store for late night pizza and coffee/drinks.

- nice valet people and offer to help with luggage
- nice lobby and the hotel seems new

- I got a room that was not cleaned (towels everywhere, the beds were not made, etc.) although their system said it’s clean
- hallways are extremely dirty, full of trashes on the carpet. It seems it hasn’t been vacuumed or cleaned for a month
- I checked out this morning and was told a receipt would be emailed to me (the front desk lady asked for my email), but I never got it.

Wall is too thin, you can hear next door talking. Toilet needs cleaning for new customers. Life Guard for the pool is not reliable 8.2.24. Air Conditing in the room is pretty bad, not enough to get room cool! Toilet trash no plastic. Shower lever is broken.

No furniture. No chest of drawers. No Closet. Noisy in some rooms. No backup generator when power failed. Glithches galore. Key swipes do not always work. Parking lot does not always work. Large events and no parking. Restaurant is extremely overpriced. Market Cafe food is slightly cheaper, but tastes like Jr. High cafe. Price for rooms does not comport with what they have to offer. Carpet is very worn in hallways. Often has debris on it.
