Met all our needs as a family of 4 with room for friends to stop by. Great local to walk to dinner and shops. Exceeded our expectations! The full kitchen and openness gave us room to spread out.

Valley Hearth was the perfect spot for two couples spending a long weekend in Harrisonburg. Tom and Ali have created a warm, welcoming space with all the essentials. The apartment is spotless, with a full kitchen set up to easily manage cooking most meals. The two bedrooms are spacious, with comfortable mattresses and pillows, and the sunny, plant-filled living room is roomy and cozy at the same time. Ali was a wonderful host - she sent detailed emails about the property, check-in, and local businesses, and spaced the messages out over a few days so the information wasn't overwhelming. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, just a few minutes drive from campus. If you prefer to walk, it's a 20 minute stroll to the Forbes Center and 30 minutes to Bridgeforth Stadium. Coffee shops, gift shops, and restaurants are just a few short blocks away. We loved our stay, and look forward to coming back next fall!

This house is a perfect location to downtown Harrisburg, 3-4 blocks from several great restaurants. Allison was very helpful in every process and anything we needed she also has a wonderful friendly husband we met briefly. Thanks for the wonderful place.

This was a fabulous home. Great design, accommodated our family of four perfectly. Nice little details like toothpaste in the bathroom, notes to explain things in the home. Beautiful outdoor seating area. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at this property to kick off our vacation on the Shenandoah Valley. The house was very nicely decorated and had plenty of space for just the two of us. Everything was well laid out and explained by the host. Location was also a huge plus as the property was right in the middle of Harrisonburg. We used this to our advantage exploring a few of the local breweries within walking distance.

The house was lovely and spacious, very comfortable to stay in. Loved being within walking distance of downtown.
