Parking is a must for me . Easy to park , off road parking , in a safe environment. Apartment style accommodation was perfect for me , with the room having both a fridge and microwave , both of which I used. In addition to my room having a TV , there are two communal rooms on the ground floor with larger TVs and comfy chairs and tables.

All good . No complaints.

In the end I didn’t stay in this property. It was advertised as a hotel with pay on arrival. In reality it is like an unattended AirBnB. As soon as I confirmed my stay I was contacted by a system asking for payment (which I did). Then I was asked for an scan of my passport or driver’s licence. I am not prepared to give this (I run a business that provides Cybersecurity). Despite paying it was still demanded. So, in the end I decided to stay in a proper hotel that doesn’t ask for unnecessary information. It might be a nice place but I will never know. I think it would be fair to state this is not an attended hotel in the description.

The room was brilliantly designed, looked amazing and bed super comfortable

Attitude of the staff, asked them to replace the sheets and I was handed the sheets and told to do it myself as the room wasn’t on her list. I understand that she may have been on a time frame and was unable to do it at that particular time but didn’t expect the response I was given. Especially when I had stripped the bed and did everything I could to make sure it was as easy and quick as possible.

The rooms are decorated nicely

The bed is terrible! It feels like they’ve used very old beds in a new hotel. The room says it has a kitchenette but upon arrival realised there is actually no sink in the kitchen so all dishes have to be washed in the bathroom sink. The bathroom sink is so shallow, I could barely fit a coffee cup in. They don’t clean the rooms during the stay so it’s quite gross having to wash your face in the same sink you wash dishes in. The WiFi was horrendous for the first 24 hours and the communication was quite rude and blaming me until the owner called me, said there was an issue with signal to my room and it was better after that. I had to use loads of my own data and when asked for a discount on the first night, I was rudely refused.

Beautiful property

There was no room cleaning/refreshing facility, which means: no room cleaning (and emptying the bins), no new clean towels, no refilling of facilities like toilet paper, coffee, no clean cups, etc Very awkward!

The way it is contactless is very impersonal, and the fact that you have to sign into a portal to retrieve info and codes and upload personal information felt insecure. The television wouldn’t work and wasn’t able to fixed until after we checked out the following day. The water from the shower made an absolute mess on the floor and we had to use our towels to mop up all the excess water, so not able to use towels in the morning as they were saturated.

the wet room rather than a proper bathroom insufficient sockets, we had to stand the coffee maker on the windowsill and unplug the microwave the bed end was wooden and was too close to the fridge cupboard so we had to be very careful not to injure our legs. the room design could be improved. the TV didn't work

Having never been to Yeovil before, turns out the hotel was quite near the town centre and several major supermarkets. Plenty of parking space outside the hotel and as for the hotel itself, from the outside you maybe just don't realise how good this place is going to be. The booked room was excellent, bed very comfy, room facilities excellent. Fridge, microwave, coffee machine in addition to the usual tea/coffee and kettle that most hotels usually provide. Excellent bathroom. Overall very much better than i had thought and expected. IF i am ever in Yeovil again, this is where i would be staying. The room was booked by myself for myself and my girlfriend who in the end due to work could not make it, so sent her a video of the room/bathroom and she was amazed how good it was and was gutted she could not stay there as planned. And it was cheaper than the Premier Inn which is a chain i often use.

Cant think of anything i didnt like about this hotel.
