My husband and I stayed here for 4 months while house hunting. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Neighborhood is quiet and close enough to walk or take the free shuttle to restaurants, shops and beach. The house is overall well appointed. The kitchen came minimally equipped compared to other places we stayed (i.e. pots/pans, seasonings and plastic/tin foil wrap) but we were there longer than the average guests. With that being said, the owner was happy to supply the utensils we needed to help our stay be more comfortable. The view spoils you as you look over the rooftops and watch the sailboats out in the distance. Laundry is on-site and convenient as well as affordable compared to most of Santa Monica.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Russell was communicative and we were able to connect easily. There were a few things we needed and he went out of his way to make sure we had them and were comfortable. The apartment was super clean as advertised, the ocean view and having our morning coffee on the balcony looking at the ocean view was a highlight. The area was quiet and very safe and we could get to places very easily. Would definitely recommend.

I was a single woman visiting Santa Monica on my own from the UK. I chose this property because of its location near to an area that I had visited before but I didn't really know what to expect. Firstly, when enquirng about the apartment the owner responded almost immediately which was refreshing considering there was a considerable time difference between us and they automatically made me feel at ease to ask as many questions as needed without any pressure to book. Once I decided to confirm my reservation it was smooth sailing until the end. I was welcomed beautifully and shown everything possible within the apartment. It's just as it appears in the pictures on the website. A delightful fully equipt one bedroom apartment in a fantastic location walking distance to all the local restaurants, shops and everything else Santa Monica has to offer. The owner and his wife were so kind and accommodating and were on hand should I have needed them. It was faultless. I would not hesitate to book again.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay in Russell and Renata's apartment. Everything I needed was there upon arrival, and Russell and Renata live in the home just below and are so warm an accommodating should anything be needed. The apartment was fully stocked and in super condition, with lovely cool breezes during day and night times. The ocean view from the front porch was gorgeous, and just as lovely as I hoped it would be from the pictures in their post. This location is perfect for beach lovers, and for people who prefer to walk or bike around -- just a short trek to the grocery store or to the fantastic restaurants/bars/boutiques on Main Street. I plan to come back for another stay soon :)
