Very quite neighborhood, amazing views on the back yard. House was very clean with everything you need, we also enjoyed the kayaks , I recommend this place .

The host has EVERYTHING you need, kayaks, tubes, suntan lotion, FLIP FLOPS, fire pit, hot tub, to projection screen to VINYL RECORDS, foosball table, chess set as well as casserole dishes and iron skillet, mixed etc. We could not have asked for more, there was something for everyone, as well as just drop the kayaks in the water and paddle out to the restaurant to eat and then play around in the water. We will definitely be coming back, it was the most relaxing weekend. The back yard was so peaceful and it really soothes the soul. The baby alligator and squirrels in the trees were a joy to watch. The home was exactly as it says, the beds are comfortable and it really felt like home. I loved the extra touches and the soft sound of the coocoo clock was just charming . Very unique stay you don’t find everyday. Very clean and well taken care of and close to everything you need, Publix was a mile and a half away, as well as KP Hole was close to go tubing as well or hiking at the state park.

We’ve stayed in a few places in this area and so far here has been our favorite :) Wonderful house on a beautiful property. Privacy as well as opportunity to view nature, while be close to everything you’d enjoy. Very hopeful to return in the future.

Communication with the owner was great, they were very helpful. The property is a gorgeous tucked away little piece of heaven on a canal off the withlacoochee river. We enjoyed taking the canoe and kayaks out. We got to see a few small gators, lots of fish, birds, etc. the property is close to stores, restaurants, etc. we had a wonderful stay & would definitely consider staying here again if we are ever back in the area ❤️

We had an amazing stay. Loved all the decor in the home and the backyard was amazing. We spent so much time just relaxing, fishing, watching the birds and there were some tiny gators in the river behind the house. The home is so comfortable and had everything that we needed to prepare meals. A perfect place to get away and unwind!

We rented this property to enjoy a weekend away with our adult children, their spouses and children. The house had activities for all of us and was just a couple of miles from the grocery and Walmart. We only left the house once over the weekend. It was a lovely stay! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Very relaxing, great view of the water and wild life . Enjoyed hot tub, reading in the hammock & outside fire pit. This home was so well equipped , you definitely have all the comforts of home. Great family meals together in this Kitchen or at some great local restaurants. Also some awesome Antique stores close by to shop at. Communication with owner was wonderful, we all hope to come back another time .

We all enjoyed this beautiful home. Water views, Wildlife to watch, Relaxing in the hot tub, Outside fire pit or Reading in the hammock. House was well equipped , all the comforts of home. Loved cooking meals in the kitchen that had everything .Communication with owner was wonderful. Local restaurants and Antique shops were close by. We all hope to return.

Amazing property , obviously so much thought went into the design and amenities . Beautiful yard on the Withalacochee River. The owner of the house could not have been more helpful, immediatly answer any questions . Very Highly recommended.

We loved EVERYTHING about this property. Large lot with beautiful mix of Florida trees. Wonderfully appointed with every expectation you can have for a vacation rental. We greatly enjoyed the 4 kayaks for daily river adventures. The "Lacoochee Chalet" (we loved the name by the frontdoor ;) is on a little branch of the Withlacoochee that goes around a small forested island. It is so peaceful and relaxing. There is a Publix about a mile away and plenty of local restaurants if you don't want to cook! I originally was looking for a rental on the Rainbow River, but couldn't find anything for my dates. So looked a little further down from where the Rainbow River hits the Withlacoochee and found this newly added rental. So happy I did! If you enjoy kayaking you can make it to the Rainbow River from the house. It is up river, but not a very strong current. There also many kayak/canoe/tube rental places on the Rainbow River that are just a few minutes drive away. The kitchen was appointed beyond all expectations! Air Fryer, K-Cup with milk frother (k-cups provided), lots of refillable water bottles (no disposable plastics of any kind on river!), spices, nice appliances, air popcorn popper. The bathrooms were also well appointed and decorated. One bathroom upstairs, one on the bottom level. HUGE downstairs kids bedroom & large laundry room. No en suite bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom has a tub/shower and also a walk-in stall shower. The downstairs bathroom has a toilet/vanity area with a very nice locker-room style tile walk-in shower. We were 2 adult couples so this worked fine, but I could see bathrooms being overcrowded if you had a group that maxed out the amount the house sleeps. Otherwise, the house has more than enough room to accommodate a large group and give everyone little areas to do their own thing. Believe the alligator signs and be aware of your surroundings when near the water. Never feed alligators, they are scared of you until humans give them a reason not to be! We saw a large otter on the Rainbow River and that made my day! Property manager was AWESOME! She was very quick to answer my texts & emails and beyond helpful. Housekeeping does a fantastic job. Hope to be back!

Love the house an location. The attention to details, views and cleanliness is impressive. Just as described and more. We actually overpacked not knowing the little extras (coffee, toiletries etc) the owner left for us. Will definitely stay here again and we use VRBO several times a year, this place was a 10 out of 10.

Perfect house for a group of 4-8. Clean, great location! Close to both Rainbow River Springs and the Rainbow River tubing launch area.
