I reserved a room with a king and a double bed - was given a room with three twins and a double. The desk clerk looked me in the eye and told me the double bed was a king and then said the three twins were the same as a king. I later checked the fine print and saw that room preferences are not guaranteed so I had to let that go. After reading the reviews under their previous name (Savoy Aparthotel - very recent name change) I figured I was safer in the room I had (no extra "pets" found) than changing to a new room later in my stay. ***Please note*** THERE IS NO LIFT (ELEVATOR) IN THIS HOTEL. Stairways are narrow. I thought the reason the room was so much cheaper was because it was in a not premium location but I should have investigated further. Requiring nonrefundable payment in full should have been another clue. Cleaning could have been better (crumbs on floor for 5 days - no clean towels for 3 days) Do not recommend - there are better choices.

The room was clean & adequate. I felt the bathroom accessories were lacking. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Air con was good. Good location but drop off was difficult because bery narrow street

The first night we did not arrive due to flight delays. I let them know that day. We came the second night, and they had the wrong room reserved and then we had to move the third day. Then the air conditioner didn’t work. I advised them several times and they didn’t fix it. Just blew warm air for our 6 days there. I’d never stay there again.

We had an exellent stay...Ryan was very helpful...hotel center in the middle of restaurants, bars, and convince stores. Easy to find. Centric.

Location of hotel is excellent and it was extremely good value for being so central. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were well appointed. Only elements that fell short were that the duvet cover was was stained as was the shower curtain

Top location. Supermarket and restaurants nearby. Nice manager, no complaints. The room could use a little fix/upgrade here and there.

Everything was fine, really a nice apartment, nice and safe through the night cause of the cats observation :-)

The staff was fantastic. Super helpful. We got caught in an unexpected rainstorm and they took our wet clothes, washed and dried them and got them back to us that day.

It's mostly fine ;) Not big on the details, a little wonky generally, but spotlessly clean and functional. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you.

This hotel/suite was in a good location-easy to get to attractions. It is located among several bars and was quite noisy at times.

The host was very helpful and accessible and went out of his way to make our stay as easy as possible. Space is tight but everything was available to use and nicely furnished. Only thing was no lift to get suitcases up the stairs but the host was happy to lift these for us.

Upon check-in, we were offered two room choices and fully supported through the process. The room was comfy and accommodating to our family of 4 and the location was perfect for a quick hop on the train or bus for exploring.

The folks who run the front desk Steve and Ryan and the housekeeper are wonderful. They are kind and friendly and were always there to help with directions or anything I needed. This place is in Shoreditch known for the nightlife so at times can be noisy but it’s a safe neighborhood close to Old Street Tube and buses. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Great property located near all main touristic places in London. Lots of bars and restaurants around. Great management in the property Definitely will stay again

The good: Staff friendly and helpful. Good location. The bad: Room photos do not match reality. Lack of double glazing means rooms are vulnerable to noise from streets.

The pictures do not match the room. Our bathroom was so small my kids couldn’t fit. Everything was tight and reception wasn’t there much. Hot water broke and we couldn’t shower.

Worked very well for our stay in London with three of us. They changed the sheets and towels frequently. Were receptive to any issues we had.

It's convenience, walk to underground station around 8 min. Nearby has the spitalfield market

Although not an issue for me (my room was 2nd floor) there is no lift. The area is noisy as it surrounded by clubs and pubs, it is also dirty. The bathroom was ridiculously small (narrow) the wash basin was approx 6" x 12"

Very nice place to stay and easy to communicate with

We had a great week long stay here. We didn’t have a noise problem. There’s a cute black cat that lives in the hotel. Very nice area with tons of restaurants and pubs nearby. Only complaint is the stairs and there wasn’t a deadbolt on the door. A lift would have honestly made the stay perfect. The shower had poor water pressure as well but the water was always hot.
