I liked every minute I spent in it. I loved the location, surrounded by nature and immersed in tranquility. I absolute loved sleeping in this bamboo house. Best accomodati in Bali so far. The owners weren’t there but they were in constant contact with me giving me tips and help through WhatsApp . The stuff was great too, from the driver, to the guardian and the restaurant linked to the property. Also Dolly, their dog, best companion of those days.

Tout, tout tout!!!! il y avais vraiment tout pour que l'on passe un agréable moment. Tout à été pensé dans les moindre détails.. les books sur les activités, les cartes des restos, les livraisons de courses... vraiment top! A ne surtout pas manquer: la magnifique piscine en contrebas à 6/7mn de marche. Au milieu de la jungle vous êtes seuls au monde! 🥰 Bref vous l'aurez compris on a adorez...et on y reviendra c'est sur! ❤️ Merci Raquel et Stéphan pour ce petit nid et cette complète deconnexion❤️

Struttura immersa nella natura, una vera e propria oasi di pace. L'alloggio ha un tocco personale davvero difficile da trovare in altri alberghi, hai l'impressione di essere a casa, seppur dall'altra parte del mondo. Stefan e Rachel sono molto disponibili e si vede la loro passione nell'accogliere gli ospiti. Ci hanno anche organizzato il noleggio del motorino. Bellissima la piscina a sfioro all'interno della giungla.

La struttura si trova in un piccolo paesino che non offre molto. Ci sono praticamente solo due ristoranti raggiungibili, che chiudono molto presto la sera, pertanto si deve organizzare la giornata pianificando una cena presto.

This was an absolutely amazing stay, the place is clean and the breakfast is delicious! The views are incredible and the pool in the forest is so cool!

The place is perfect, built with dedicated care esp. in a rural area. We highly appreciated having the aircon during the hot humid nights in Bali, much more comfortable than the picturesque bamboo villas on Instagram. The hut is cozy, cute, and super clean. At night we could hear the soothing sounds of the insects that were extremely calm for a good sleep. There are excellent restaurants nearby plus a long swimming pool within walking distance of the middle of the forest. Sadly we wanted to stay longer but cannot arrange with a short notice. The host family is super nice and helpful. Will definitely come back for a longer stay.

Staying at Kalamanthana was a highlight of our six weeks in Bali. It's a small but perfectly appointed (and spotlessly clean) Swiss-style cabin containing everything you need – AC, good wifi, a small kitchen, a water filter, TV with streaming services, a bathroom with an excellent shower and a comfortable bed. So much thought and care has gone into everything, from the first aid kit to the complimentary snacks to the folder containing details of day trips and nearby activities. There are no other guests – it's just the one cabin, so it's a really quiet and personal experience. From the terrace the views are spectacular, the best we found on the whole of the island – lush, gorgeous views of the valley, accompanied by the sounds of insects. A 6-7 minute walk down steps is a beautiful hidden swimming pool, surrounded by the forest and available to guests, and there's a good Mexican-Italian restaurant a couple of minutes walk away (breakfast is from here – the huevos rancheros are almost as good as the views). Thank you to Rachel, Stefan, Reihan (and their pets, which our four year old child loved playing with) for their hospitality, advice and excellent company. They've created a little slice of paradise that feels a million miles away from Bali's touristy areas, and being able to share it with them, if only for a couple of nights, was truly a gift.
