Nice location, the house has not been kept up well. Needs repairs. Only 3 dish towels for a house that rents for 14 people, especially during a holiday with increased kitchen activity. The liquid hand soap had been diluted with water, making it hard to use and worrisome to use. Washer and dryer are very loud and run slowly. No reasonable cost to rent the houses float boat, which is at the residence. BedRooms are small, closets are very small. Nice view. Nice sauna. Would NOT rent this property again for the increased price, I expect more.

Couldn’t have had picked a better home and location for our sibling reunion! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped and large enough to socialize and cook large meals in. Common areas were large, bright, and cozy. We chose to come in autumn, which was absolutely stunning for fall colors and smores by the fire, but a little too chilly to enjoy the boat and lake. Looking forward to coming again when it’s warmer!

This property was everything we hoped for and fit our needs perfectly. It was our grandchildren's first time at a large lake instead of the shore and they loved it. Swimming, boating, fire pit at night, hot tub and game room. We have rented summer homes for 12 years and this was the best. Renting a boat added to the pleasure but just relaxing at the house was a delight.

We’ve not vacationed in N Carolina before . We stay somewhere new every summer with our adult children, their spouses & our grandchildren (6 adults & 4 children in our group). We were so pleased with this home and the small apartment upstairs in the game room area. Lots of room and great amenities. The sandy beach was a big hit and we rented the pontoon boat during the week too (so much fun). No bugs! The weather was great and Charlotte is just 40 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great family weekend at the boathouse on Lake Norman. The house, locations, and over all experience were fantastic.

The house and all the amenities were great. It did not disappoint us. The view is awesome. So peaceful and beautiful.

The house was cozy and spacious at the same time with places for relaxing, games, puzzles, cooking and eating. Our family reunion of three generations of women had a wonderful weekend. The sunrises and sunsets out the generous windows were a real treat too:)

Home is spacious with nice views. Clean and comfortable, quite with nice views. Pool and hot tub were nice. Rental company could have done a little better job of making sure everything was in working order. Pool needed water added so that the pump and fountain would run. Kayaks straps were broken. Kitchen could have been better stocked..(if you cook bring your own knives). Plenty of plates and glasses wine glasses etc. 2nd frig in garage is a plus for families like ours who prefer to cook rather than eat out. Lots of games for kids and boat rental was a nice option.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boathouse Cove. Everything was very clean. The kids had a blast in the pool and the lake. Looking forward to coming back again!
