We always stay at The Bayview Inn. We love this place.

I travel for work and the BayView inn always has kind front desk staff, clean rooms and is in a good location to grab snacks, drinks, or walk to a restaurant. I also really enjoy their hot tub rooms when it’s chilly out. The beds are very comfortable. Whenever I stay in Crescent City and need a hotel I plan on staying there.

In the room everything is old, smell really bad, pillow covers old, bed sheets dirty. Nothing good to said.

We were greeted with friendly staff who expeditiously checked us in. The exterior was better maintained than the interior. Though there were lights guiding us, the halls were dark and dingy with uneven floors. We stayed in a spacious room with chipping paint, dated decor and furniture, and worn bedding. Our bathroom sink faucet handle kept falling off.
Despite the short comings, our family still had fun and enjoyed the big screen TV and cable and above all, the helpful staff. The proximity to the wonderful redwood state park is a huge bonus.

Check in was ok. The room smelled like wet dog and there was hair on the bed. The ac unit was loud and looked 30 years old. No elevator to get to the 3rd floor.

This was a nice hotel within walking distance of some good Mexican restaurants as well as a slightly longer walk to the pier.

Property was not clean to high standards, the room lacked a fresh aroma. The bathtub felt spongy under your feet like you might fall through the floor. The handle on the bathroom sink popped off. There were no screens on the windows, allowing bugs to come in if you wanted to cool the boiling hot room down. Mattresses were very soft, not in a good way. If you’re looking for only a place to lay your head then it would do, but not ideal for a lengthy stay.

Location. Walking path across from back of property. Very quiet for sleeping in back area also. Would like to see all motels get rid of the heavy bedspreads which may or may not be washed between guests. And the blankets.

The sheets and pillow cases were so wrinkled and not white and not appealing to sleep on.

The voew was nice. But the room wasnt great. The tub had mold in the handle and had a funny smell. They looked nice on the outside, wish it matched on the inside.

Our room was nice and big which was nice. Everyone was super friendly. The room was not super clean, the first night we got there our feet were black from walking on the carpet and the shelves had dirt and what not pretty thick on them and there was trash in the couches

Got to hear everyone around us take their showers. Sounded like a jet engine and the traffic noise was excessive. It did however meet the price point and was expected. Nice location close to the beach.

Unfortunately, we were robbed at this property. We had to carry all of our belongings (for a family of 5) up to the 3rd floor on a rainy day. The kids got tired and set their things down, and when we ran back down the stairs for them, they were gone. It's pretty sad that someone would rob a child! The next day, there were people grabbing at the door and pushing to get inside as soon as I opened it. There weren't any staff around to help. Our experience at this motel really dampened our moods and took away our mad love for California.

Employees very helpful. Our A/C didn’t work properly we reported it to front desk had a new A/C installed before we returned to hotel for the evening. Front desk to maintenance great staff.

I put the do nit disturb on my door. Someone still came into my room, made the beds and went threw my backpack. My wife packs the bags a certain way and it wad all rearranged.

Only rooms in the new ANNEX building have air conditioning. I did not know this, and I booked a standard room, but the rooms in the Annex only cost $10.
When I discovered there was no air conditioning in the room, I went to the desk and asked to pay for the upgrade. There were still rooms in the annex, and the lady upgrade me for free. That is what I call good customer service!
