The property was extremely clean with very comfortable beds. The ages of our group ranged from 17-78 and there was so much to do for everyone. We enjoyed renting the pontoon boat, made good use of the game room, kayaks, hot tub and fire pit. We especially appreciated the flat lot that made it possible for all members of our group to enjoy all of the outdoor perks without worrying about falling. It is a property that offers something for everyone :) And I must mention how much we appreciation the good communication from the host as well.

Lots of space for a big group to hang out but still feels like it can be comfortable and cozy.

Sweet Caroline offers everything we could possibly imagine to have an amazing lake home vacation! Owners really thought of everything here. The attention to detail and cleanliness is next level. This is a must visit property for anyone looking to stay at Lake Gaston!

This property was perfect for our New Year’s celebration. The house was beautiful. They had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen, and everything was labeled so you knew where everything went. The beds were comfortable. The management company was very friendly and responsive for any issues we had. They even mailed back some items I forgot in the house. I would absolutely stay here again and 100% recommend this property and management company.

We stayed here for a big family trip the week before Christmas. There were 18 of us total including 8 kids. The place had plenty of room for everyone. The house was VERY clean which is our top priority. The beds were all comfortable and the bedrooms were very spacious. Eventhough it was cold, we enjoyed the deck space including the hot tub and fire pit. Kids and adults alike all enjoyed the game room. It gave us entertainment especially at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was absolutely delightful. The owner was very tentative and had everything ready to go. Met all expectations and then some with the excellent host. Very spacious. Perfect for Holidays and family events. Pictures don’t do it justice. Highly recommend! Note: upstairs master and double queen are connected, as the map shows, however they Do both have separate room entrances as well.

We rented here for the first time with our annual Ladies Weekend Retreat. It is a wonderful house that is well maintained, clean, organized, and thoughtfully appointed. The views are fantastic, there is plenty of space for activities, and the grand kitchen makes meal prep easy & fun. We enjoyed our daily walk to the recreation/dam area and relaxing in the hot tub and around the firepit while taking in the views. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the lake views and sunsets! Hanging around the dock was fun for everyone.

First time vacationing at lake Gaston and sweet Caroline was the perfect home for our large family. House is beautiful inside and out with lots of different areas to play and hangout. Owners were responsive, helpful, generous and very organized! I appreciated the comfortable beds, extra towels, and very clean house. Kids loved riding scooters on the long driveway, jumping and fishing off the pier, and playing in game room. Pontoon boat is a must and we also ended up renting a raft for a few days. We loved this area because it was quiet. We went in September and there’s is likely more debris (leaves, dead plants etc) floating in water but water is clean. We would definitely go back!

10 adults and 8 young children all had a fabulous time at Sweet Caroline. Pictures dont do it justice. Owners very responsive and helpful.

WOW! Sweet Caroline is magnificent, and there's so many fun ways to enjoy Lake Gaston. Couldn't ask for a better house for our family. Boat house with plenty of water toys, hot tub, extensive game room, massive kitchen, and large master suites and bedrooms. They've thought of everything. Can't wait to come back.

The grandparents came down with our family of 8 in their early 30s with 4 grandkids from 5 months to 4 years and had a wonderful time! We all enjoyed floating off the dock in our floats and exploring the lake in the pontoon boat that we rented from the owners. The dining areas were perfect for family dinners. The kitchen was stocked wonderfully! The game room in the converted garage was perfect to have a second place to gather and keep the noise away from the main house. We would definitely come to this house again!!

This was a fun family vacation with my mom, two brothers and our families. The best thing about the property is that there is so much for everyone to do. The boathouse was a great place to hang out and watch everyone on the tubes, paddle boards, kayaks and boat. It was so convenient to rent the boat and have it already there. The hot tub on the patio was relaxing and close to where the family was hanging out and enjoying food and drinks. We used the fire pit one night and made smores. The game room was a big hit. It was great to use on rainy nights. The entire family could hang out and even play corn hole. My granddaughter loved learning how to play ping pong. The house was clean and plenty big for our large group. Everything was organized and labeled and there was plenty of storage. The owner was quick responding to messages and his suggestions for places to eat and visit were very helpful. The Bird Park was definitely worth the drive. So fun! We now have wonderful memories of our visit to Sweet Caroline.

Sweet Caroline had everything we needed for an amazing family vacation! The home was equipped with so many activities; paddle boards, kayaks, corn hole, game room, etc. to keep everyone in the family happy. The location on the lake was convenient and so much fun! It was even better than the photos/description. Lake Gaston & Sweet Caroline are top on my list of vacation spots and we can't wait to return!!

This place is stunning! Pictures don't do it justice. We had 15 people in our group including 3 kids under 6 and we all had plenty of space. The apartment and game room gave the teens a space of their own and they LOVED it. The house was super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable! We will be saying here again!!! Best vacation ever!

We stayed at Sweet Caroline for our annual family vacation. Grandpa and Grandma, 5 grown children, 3 in-laws, 2 friends, and 5 grandchildren. We had a great time!! The house, boathouse, and apartment/garage offered plenty of space for our family. John is great to work with; when the living room TV went out, he had a new TN up and running in less than 3 hours. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the 3 full size refrigerators were very much appreciated. I highly recommend Sweet Caroline for large family vacations.

This house was the best we have ever rented. The kitchen was so well equipped. We were able to cook an Easter Dinner for 13 people. The age range was 2 years to 80 years old. It was great having our adult kids and their family under one roof. The boathouse was perfect. We did spend alot of time there fishing and watching the kids enjoy the water toys. The sunsets were amazing from anywhere, the house, yard or dock. We loved the boat. Touring the lake was awesome. Ending the evenings with a fire was the cherry on top.
