The hotel was wonderful and well located. The only drawback was the dining. The hotel restaurant was chaotic at dinner time and the line to get into breakfast was inexplicably long - one person checking everyone in on an elaborate system then seating them. People gave up and left without breakfast.

Great location - central to walking to everywhere downtown and the monuments + museums + historical sites. 5 minute walk to the Metro. Our room was spacious, very quiet and comfortable. Would definitely come back.

I have stayed here before but don’t think I will again. The shower facet wasn’t fully connect to the wall and the water temperature was either scalding hot or cold and the sink faucets were not matching on both sides and the tv picture was not clear. Just expected more for the price.

We had an amazing stay to celebrate my wife’s birthday in our Nations’ Capital!. Great room with a view of the Washington Monument. Centrally located so everything was accessible by foot.

The location is amazing, right next to Freedom Plaza, National Theatre and just steps from the Mall.
We had three adults in the room and they are NOT queen beds. So, be aware - they're full size mattresses. But it's a nice room and clean

It was a beautiful hotel, with a very welcoming staff. The elevators were a little hard to understand. All the buttons for choosing your floor were on the outside of the elevator & there was no real way to tell if they elevator you got in was going up or down.

Hands down the best staff and service. This is the friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed with. Rooms are simple and clean. The only wish I had was for a small fridge but this is a first world problem. The restaurant & bar was great. The location is perfect for both business and tourism.

I love this hotel, and this was my second time staying. I have no complaints about the hotel itself. My issue is that I was walking on the side of the hotel one afternoon and fell (because of the sidewalk and the sandals I was wearing). The only people close to me were a man and woman. I am in my 50's. Neither of the folks came to help me, just stared. I got up, and walked by them, making a joke about my new sandals (I was so embarrassed), and again, blank stares. In the fall I had broke my phone and scraped both my elbow and knee.
The next day I was walking through the hotel and saw the man who had not even tried to help. He worked at the hotel. I asked who he was and was told he was the Concierge. I had been assisted by several of them, and they were always very friendly. This Concierge didn't know I was a patron of the hotel, but that shouldn't have mattered when you see an older person (or ANY person) fall. I saw him walking through the hotel several times after that, and each time was reminded of that embarrassing (and painful) moment, and how his look of disdain made it so much worse. Don't know if I will stay there again.
