The only issue is that the heating is not very efficient, running all night and generating loud sound.

Conference at Hilton next door. Stayed at Churchill saved us 100 per night. Nice rooms and service overall. There is a hidden fee for historical preservation that they charge you when you check in. Beware of that if that will be an issue. The parking fee is also different from what they say on the website.

Have stayed here before and would chose this hotel any time we stay in DC. Rooms are large quiet and comfortable. Staff is very nice. Would absolutely recommend

Less than expected. Clean and comfortable but they gave us a handicapped room and it was laid out just terribly. Water on the rest of the bathroom floor bc the shower curtain in the accessible shower did not reach the floor. No hooks for towels. Few trash cans. Only one chair. No microwave—in this sense budget motels have the edge over The Churchill. They may have redefined opulence but I think they’re redefining it in the wrong direction.
Staff were as responsive and courteous as I could ask and they should be commended.

I had a nice stay, the hotel was quiet and clean and offered a comfortable bed. Upon arrival their systems were down so they couldn't process check-ins. However, they were courteous and informative so the 30 minutes delay did not bother me.

My room was on the second floor. The hallway and the room itself stank. It seems that carpets, and perhaps vent filters, hadn't been changed since this was a smoking floor. It smelled like a decrepit motel. The AC controls in the room didn't work. The coffee maker was broken. After two nights, I was able to move to a higher floor, a less smelly room, but no one even batted an eyelash when I told them about the broken coffeemaker.

Communication was bad, we Received no clean sheets, front desk was not friendly, also a slew of other issues including room issues that got me sick very disappointing

Great hotel in a wonderful location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Valet Parking is expensive but I guess that’s to be expected in DC.

Strong order of marijuana wafted from the stairwell near our room throughout our stay. Staff tried to cover up smell with air fresheners.

Room was comfortable. Front desk staff was horrible. The guys were perfect, but there was one African American woman working at the front desk that was having a conversation about me and my family, and didn't know that my sister was standing there. It made uncomfortable so I checked out a day early. The conversation wasn't pleasant. I will never stay there again. I think the receptionist needs to be retrained. When I confronted her, she couldn't deny it
