Stay was okay for a midrange facility. We had higher expectations for the outside pool and beach areas since we were being charged a daily resort fee. Lounge chairs were set up with sides touching so that trying to get on the chair was difficult with no side access. More umbrellas were needed to create shady areas especially in the afternoons when the sun gets so hot. More needs to be done to discourage reserving chairs for the day…if not being used for 2 hrs towels should be removed?

Was in town for a weekend trip to run the Honolulu Marathon. Staff was extremely kind, great service at the restaurants, and walking distance to many stores. The bidet in the bathroom rooms are a nice touch. You can walk right onto the beach from the hotel. Room was very spacious. Everything was top notch.

This was our second stay at this Sheraton location. Balcony overlooking the beach and Diamond Head was great. Room was very comfortable, super friendly staff and both pools are great for relaxing. The safe in our room wouldn't work and the front desk had a service rep in our room within minutes. Location is ideal for hitting the beach, shopping or dining without a car.

The Kai Market was disappointing, the side of fruit I ordered was not fresh. The pineapple was old. The restaurant is nice, however the carpet needs to be cleaned. The portion to price ratio was over priced. Servers were great. Not what we expected.

Generally enjoyed the stay. Staff were friendly. Room was clean m, bed was comfortable. Some things to improve: 1) Wifi was extremely slow 2) no real coffee cups and plates (only paper) 3) other guests were smoking on the balcony perhaps you can put signs or even consider installing smoke detectors

This room had a beautiful view of Diamondhead and the ocean. We enjoyed the oceanfront music at night and they seem to have enough seating around the pool for everyone staying there. All the people working there were very courteous and friendly.

The hotel and service were amazing. However the double beds really need to be a queen. For a family they are too small to share with your partner and for children to share.

Admittedly, waking up to an open ocean view and the beautiful pool right below us may have influenced my marking, but the room was kept spotless, we received an email the minute the room was cleaned, food at RumFire was good, and we really enjoyed the connecting walkways between the Sheraton, the royal Hawaiian and the shopping centre.

My room was fabulous, house keeping did a terrific job each & every day. Hotel & pools are fabulous. Very friendly, polite & always helpful workers. I’d stay here again anytime. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.

The property was awesome. Our room had an amazing view of Diamond head and the pool area. The infinity pool was the best part of our experience, just amazing. We felt the menu at Rumfire was lacking and we never ate there, but the Edge bar was perfect. The service was top notch. We never ate at the Makai restaurant, we are not breakfast eaters and the portions were to large and heavily overpriced.

We checked in and our room was still very dirty. Sheets were stained mirrors were dirty. Mold on the shower curtain. Restaurant was closed the first night of our stay. Pool bar was closed. Location is good but overall was disappointed in our stay. Won’t be returning.

City noise is a big problem for most Waikiki hotels. We heard no beep beep beep at 5:00 am like we did at the Moana surfrider. The view was to die for. The room was quiet. The area around the hotel is so much nicer than most other hotels. The waves were excellent just left of the left beach exit. You can rent water stuff ie surf boards, boogie boards and SUP’s, right on the property. We will always come back to the Sheraton Waikiki beach resort.

This is a really great property located in the heart of Waikiki. The oceanfront room opens up to a gorgeous view of the ocean, with turtles swimming in a cove along the boardwalk separating two beaches. Excellent pools.
Even though the hotel workers began a strike on Day 2 of our stay there, we were minimally impacted due to excellent planning by the management and striking staff to minimize inconveniences to guests. I wish them well, and hope they get the contract they desire.
