The Grand Park Royal Cancun is an excellent choice for its prime location on the stunning Playa Blanca Cancun and the exceptional quality of its staff. Service: The staff at this hotel were generally, attentive, and genuinely warm. Their dedication to creating memorable moments is exceptional. Facilities: The hotel boasts two main pools, although one was under construction during our visit, which impacted the overall experience significantly. A standout highlight was the room service, included as part of the all-inclusive package Our swim-up room was spacious, well-equipped with essentials like irons and hair dryers, and meticulously cleaned daily. However, some aspects of the décor felt dated. Dining: The hotel offers five restaurants, each with its own charm. The oriental Koi restaurant and flora del Sol were our favourite. Challenges: Construction Work: The extensive renovations, including the main pool and beachfront restaurant, were not communicated prior to arrival. This was disappointing, and the front desk staff seemed dismissive of concerns. Future guests should be informed of such disruptions or offered compensation. Nothing was offered to us despite 12 hours of non stop drilling outside our room. Conclusion: The Grand Park Royal Cancun offers a beautiful beachfront location, exceptional staff, and standout perks like all-inclusive room service that elevate the experience. However, the ongoing construction detracted from the enjoyment. Rating: 3.5/5

My room very strong mild smell .

I really like this hotel, it's my second visit, the first was with friends from the University and now with my family. It's a beautiful hotel, delicious food in all the restaurants. Excellent service.

We had an amazing vacation at the Grand Park Royal. The restaurants were fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. The pools were perfect for relaxing. One even had a swim-up bar. The staff really made our stay special. They were all very friendly and always went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay. It was an overall wonderful experience! Special thanks to hotel’s concierge, Jessica Martinez. She was great and a big help throughout our stay. She handled all of our needs effortlessly, from restaurant and cabana reservations to making sure everything was set up perfectly. Every morning, she would greet us with a smile and share all the information we needed about the resort’s activities. Jessica truly went out of her way to assist us, and her kindness and attentiveness made our experience unforgettable. She was amazing to work with, and we couldn’t have asked for better service.

The beach is phenomenal! The Asian and Mexican restaurants are a must. Italian was lacking. Jessica and yajira(the best) were attentive butlers..they booked our dinner reservations and our travel to and from the airport. We had balinese beds every day we wanted them either at the beach or the pool. Damian at the adults swim up bar kept our drinks filled. Snack bar was yummy, nachos, burgers, hot dogs and there was a pizza shack. Strawberry margaritas are a must have so delicious. Rooms were nice, beds comfy. Swim ups were a little smaller and plain compared to what we've experienced. Buffet was lacking especially at breakfast and the one night we had dinner there it was not good, other than the loafs of bread and butter😜. Otherwise I recommend this hotel for location and beach. Don't be afraid to take the city bus for a $1 it is crowded but gets you quickly and cheaply where you want to go. Karaoke and silent disco was so much fun. We definitely enjoyed our time here and can't wait to visit again.

It was our 30th anniversary. First impression was pretty sad as far as not even a welcome drink. I mentioned it, and was just stared at. Was whisked away to try to get us to sign up for a “welcome breakfast “, ie, timeshare presentation. Our room was nice. Took 4 days of back and forth conversations with staff to get our room safe fixed. Always had to confirm our reservations with our assigned butler for restaurants, etc. so might have been less stressful to do it ourselves. Food wasn’t consistent or what was included, such as Saki. Asked for hot sauce and was handed tobasco. 😂 Didn’t know about a lot of the amenities or app for room service and other things until the last day by trying to order room service. Our toilet quit working the day before leaving. And …drumroll…cockroaches the size of small mice all over around the restaurant by the main pool while we were eating! Who knows where else! Saw a large turtle, wanting to lay her eggs. We were walking on the beach. Sat down to watch. It was dark. Security chased us off very rudely as well as the turtle with a bright flashlight. All in all, we made it nice and fun for ourselves and the rooftop bartender, Casanova, adult pool staff, views, tours were fun. Kinda felt like American Mexico. Guess we should have dived deeper into another area for Mexican culture. After all, that’s what we were there for!
