Very centrally located hotel, with lovely service. The housekeeper on our floor was very lovely and greeted me every time that she saw me with so much kindness. Felt very safe, and was amazing to be literally steps away from so much culture.

We checked into our rooms. The two of us have stayed at the Leonardo many times on our Visits to Galway. This time we booked and brought in two American friends to visit and tour Galway. Without knowing we were given an “executive” room, which was nice. Had we known, we would have given it to our friends. Our friends compared our room to theirs and felt they were slighted, we had water, snacks, bathrobes, a bigger room and a sitting table, in short a nicer room! They returned to the front deck and questioned the difference since we BOTH paid the same price? Not sure if he was the manager. But whomever he was, was very rude! His offer to our friends was and I quote “ well we can down grade your friends (meaning us) to a similar room that you have! Not an exceptable or hospitable solution. We felt bad for our visiting friends and offered them our room, which they denied, but made us feel very uncomfortable. In our opinion, what the manager offered was unacceptable solution! On our future trips to Galway we will be seeking alternatives to the Leonardo.

The view was beautiful and it was literally right next to the street markets- a very fun place to visit for shopping and lots of eating options. Great location to easily experience Galway.

Fantastic location. Parking next door. Wales everywhere. Family room was spacious. Straight out the door and into Latin quarter. Buffet breaky was good. Public transport very close

It is in a wonderful location near a museum, tons of shopping and food paces. Also close to the bus drop off if you do not mind a little walking walk! We had a wonderful stay.

Great location. Easy walking to sites. Accommodations were great. Parking was difficult and we had to carry luggage up and down stairs to the lift.

Parking deck is just next door. It is a little tight but seems typical for Ireland.
Nice hotel bar with seating out front by the street for people watching, but also more secluded seating in indoor patio area.

Very central at the Latin Quarter and nice location next to Spanish Arch and River Corrib views. Staff rectified an issue regarding a duvet needing to be changed as it wasn’t immaculate as it should be. Breakfast was great, as was the food in bar area.

I love everything about this hotel. Been in Ireland (Galway) twice and stayed there twice. It is the only hotel I would ever go to in Galway...The hotel is super clean, the staff is friendly, and the place has the BEST location in town. Also, the breakfasts are second to none!! I love totally it there.

Cannot beat this location. In the center of everything! Beautiful view of the river from our room. It smelled amazing in the lobby. Friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast. Our only complaint is that the beds and pillows were not comfortable - too hard, and the sheets are not soft, there was no top sheet just a very rough, overly starched duvet. Everything else was perfect but for the room price I expect a comfy, soft sleeping experience.

Nice hotel, we had a bottle of Prosecco waiting in our room but it was warm and there was no fridge or ice. The spa was good, but the salt room wasn’t working. The massage was lovely. The air con in our room wasn’t working also.
