Good open space hotel rooms are ok, hotel is close to a Main Street 6 minutes away from zocalo very safe, good security hotel. Good service at bar but drinks a little too pricey for the place.

The property was nice and fairly clean, but they have some very unfriendly policies in terms of customer service. I ordered food to be delivered from a local restaurant and I planned to meet the driver at the reception area. When the driver arrive (an a motorbike), he pulled up to the reception area in a way that he did not interfere with traffic or pedestrians. I was standing right next to him and the valet/bell staff ordered him to move 6 feet to a parking space instead of letting him hand me my food. There was no reason for this other than to follow a ridiculous policy that the hotel had. Then, when I went inside to request a couple of plates and silverware to be able to eat comfortably, I was told that they do not allow dishes to the rooms unless the food is ordered at the restaurant. After complaining about this, they gave me some disposable silverware, and said they do not have disposable plates.

As I attended to enjoy the Guelaguetza Festival, The hotel was very convenient of getting an excellent view of the fireworks of the event, at the convenience of my room. Getting easily to Oaxaca’s beautiful neighborhoods & downtown with the hotel’s transportation. The hotel staff, very courteous and helpful with wonderful tips, tour organization & safety professionalism. Very appreciated nice customer service provided. The view of the city is spectacular. Thank you 🙏

We felt we were in a retreat of sorts every time we were at the hotel. The room was spacious, the trees and bird singing and views of Oaxaca made it so special.
The staff was ever so friendly and helpful.
The pool area was so peaceful with all the trees.
The only two suggestions I have are:
1- Our room, number 706, had a very old air conditioning system. It was dark yellow it was so old. They need to replace that for the air it blows out must be bad.
We stay in not so good hotels afterwards that featured all new unites. The one at hotel Victoria was really old.
2- The pool needs a pool side shower. I do not understand how that was lacking. Just a outdoor shower to get rid of the sweat. We would arrive from walking all over town and then going to the pool. One day I was do sweaty I took a quick shower in the room before heading to the pool. However, not all guests do that. I have traveled to 42 countries and have stayed in various hotels, this was the fist one that did not have a pool side shower.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, however, I highly recommend the owners to add a ATM machine on site, so we do not waste time having to go downtown to get cash.

We loved our stay in here. The only thing that was a little disappointing is that the rooms didn’t have mini fridge. We buy water bottles but was hard to keep the water cold. Beside that everything was awesome.

Pool was dirty and screen door was broken with sharp edges and chairs inside the room with small nails sticking out my son hurt his back with the nail also the bathroom has a drain hole that open and top comes off showing the dirty water inside. Last but not least Air Conditioning was not cooling at all
