Accademia Hotel is the perfect place to enjoy Bella Verona at it's best. Beautiful Palazzo with timeless decor and clasic Italian charm, delicious breakast and an superb staff we love to meet every year! The open terrace is a great adition with a great view of Lamberti Tower. Grazie mille a tutti for allowing us " our room 102". Home away from.home. Always. They took away my 9 REWARDS NIGHTS of over 400 £ each for a "grand total" of £ 200!!! When I booked this trip in may the Hotels.com UK web site was not part of the merge with Expedia "ONE KEY". I made my 78 nights bookings on May 22nd and they only let me know if this change by late July. I consider it a complete fraud. Besides u do not get any of the usual perks as a GOLD Member (early or late check out, UPGRADE, bottle of wine, etc). So here goes my advice. Go to Hotel Accademia and enjoy the Best Italian hospitality in the best location in Verona, but run as fast as u can from.Expedia/ Hotels.com.

The best hotel I’ve stayed at. The place is beautiful, the staff treat you like royalty literally. They are friendly, the location is walkable to the arena, literally right outside is the shopping district, the hotel was clean, the breakfast was amazing. This hotel is easy an 10 Star hotel. The staff go above and beyond, we pulled up in an Uber and the staff came out to greet us, took our luggage waited for us to check in and bright it to our room. Anything you needed or even if you just asked they were quick to assist. The hotel was spacious, good quality and clean clean. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

Lovely hotel but staff were overly attentive Vs our preference (taking luggage, calling lift etc) and carrying bags to taxi at checkout (we could manage just fine). Breakfast wasn’t worth the extra cost and being served by a guy behind a counter for a ‘buffet’ breakfast is just awkward and weird!

Very nice hotel and very helpful staff on reception. Close to Arena in centre of Verona. Nice breakfast in the morning. Not so keen on the view from the room of a shabby internal courtyard.

No free bottled water at the front desk and none in the room. The attitude of the staff was more Austrian than Italian. The gym was okay, but not great. The breakfast was okay; perhaps overrated as there wasn’t much there to our preference. We are used to better breakfast buffets and a la cart options; they mostly had sugary snacks and cured meat. No fresh Bircher muesli, no omelette station, no green juice and few healthy options. We might try the NH or IHG hotel next time, but this wasn’t a bad stay. If you are looking for charm with no extras and don’t care about breakfast or a gym, this is a good choice.

Beautiful old hotel, ideally located, very professional and helpful employees. Concierge proactively suggested that we attend season finale of the opera at the Arena and expeditiously obtained tickets for us.

The overall experience of the stay at Hotel Accademia was absolutely fantastic. The room was a suite and a lovely spacious 2 room setup with separate living space and bedroom. Perfect when traveling with a baby and quite a lot of luggage. The hotel is placed in the middle of the old part of Verona and walking distance to all sites and has the atmosphere you are hoping to find in Verona. The staff was so helpful and serviceminded. Even though we had not booked in advance they ensured that the cleaning was done swiftly and we were ready to settle in before noon. A crip and a small baby amendments were placed in the room as well. We had also booked half a day late check out for an extra small fee, and was gifted with no charge for our minibar. Everyone was very forthcoming and friendly. This hotel comes with all recommendations from our little family.

The Hotel Accademia is one of those opulent, grand, gorgeously fitted out hotels. Lots of different lovely seating areas, rooms very well appointed with great linens. It is incredibly convenient, literally five minutes walk to the Arena, but set on a relatively quiet cross roads. Once your shutters are closed you cannot hear anything. Fantastic restaurants within walking distance too. Lots of choice for hotel breakfast. It was great and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending it and would love to go back. Thank you for a fabulous stay.
