The television did not work. The refrigerator did not work. It was not stated that there would be an extra charge for a pet, but I was charged an extra $35 on top of the room price. It says on the website there is a pool, but it is an outdoor pool that couldn't be used as part of our vacation plan.

There were issues with the room. No on off on lamp,
broken bed, towel rack ready to fall off. Electrical outlets need replacing as they were unable to hold the plug in place.
Other wise it served it purpose as a sleeping quarters.

It was clean but the down side is they hold your Deposit of $150 for 7 to 10 business days ,, i wont be staying there again

We weren’t sure where we would end up on our getaway. So I booked this last minute. We arrived and it was in a very unsafe area. We went to our first room, looked like someone had already slept in the bed. Our 2nd room was just as horrible, but we were exhausted and just put up with everything. The bed sheets, bed cover and carpet were stained, our toilet didn’t flush(we had to fix it) there was long black hair all over the tub, the room’s air conditioner was loud, never shut off and never kept our room cool. This place was awful.

No house keeping in 3 days.No coffee machine in room, key card won't open side doors. Pool closed, ice machines not working and the temp was 104°f / 40°c.
Breakfast was muffins toast cold cereal.

They sold our king room, so we had to downgrade for the same price. The entrance doors didn't work, so we had to carry our luggage around the building, the ice machines(2of them) didn't work, the carpet was filthy.etc

This hotel was okay. It was clean, a little run down, but overall was a decent place for a one night stay. Breakfast was basic but good as well.

I got back to rapid city from a long flight and decided to stay at this super 8 location. I went to check in the desk clerk could not print any papers, I stood at the front waiting to check in for 15 minutes. When I arrived at room the tv was on top of the stand and not in the middle where it should have been placed in the first. I bumped the stand and it fell over. The hotel blamed me for their improper set up. I should have taken pics of the room before unfortunately I did not. The outside doors are held open with rocks and the water takes a while to get hot. It’s a alright place to stay for an overnight cheap stay.

Either way never stayed at a Super 8, don’t plan to again.

Easy to find property, close to shopping options. Breakfast done at 9:30am, too early when on holidays. Staff was very helpful and cheerful. Just need to fix the side door for entrance. We were aware we couldn't get in that way. Thanks for the convenient stop on our adventure.
