I have used this property the last few times I stayed overnight at jfk. Remodel makes a big difference in condition that they used to have. Friendly staff.

the sheets were damp ; the location is super noisy ; the reception doesn't answer the phone and when you complain they don't do anything about it.

Very expensive for what you get. However free shuttle to and from JFK and excellent breakfast, however quite expensive.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The signage around parking and Valet were not great, I drove round the block 3 times before I could see where valet was located.

Shuttle driver took 45 minutes for pickup. Restaurant one night only offered a buffet. No ala carte. The next night the ala carte menu only offered sandwiches. The breakfast also was ONLY buffet. At checkout 5:30 am, no shuttle driver. We were told if no driver showed up by 5:40, then we could take the cab that was outside, but the cab was sent away at 5:35. We asked why did you send the cab away. It was now 5 :50 and no shuttle drivers showed up yet. They are supposed to start at 4 am! I said call that cab back! So it was called back and we got in the cab at 5 :55! We were worried we’d miss our flight. Inexcusable service for an airport hotel. There is very limited lounge area. Just a few chairs and all were always taken. Very bright spotlights lighting up the entire area. Very austere lobby. No comfort or coziness that I have experienced in so many hotels. The room had no carpet. Just a cold wood floor. First time in 40 years of hotel experience that I have had a hotel room with no carpet.

Good room. But over priced breakfast. Even for the drinks we bought from the shop there was charged at $5 for a drink that would cost $1.50 outside!

The room was beautiful and up to date with a large tv. Staff were very pleasant.

The white paint through out the hotel gives you the feel of being in a hospital. Fire the SOB who decided that color. Will never do that again!

the hotel is pricy, but, then, its in NYC. We missed a flight to Delhi at JFK. American Airlines was no help in this. Among the hotels near the airport, at last minute, this was "reasonably" priced. The Breakfast buffet at $26 per person seemed worth missing. The room was comfortable and we slept pretty well in less than placid times for us as we were trying to work out getting a decent new flight on to India. Staff was pleasant enough and seemed competent.

It’s in a not-so-nice neighborhood so don’t expect much for the surrounding areas. The hotel itself is pretty decent and having undergone renovations, the room is clean, good sized and bed is comfortable. It’s within close proximity to JFK. The staff are nice, polite and helpful. They have breakfast and dinner buffet which might be good but didn’t get the time to try out. Overall it was good for an overnight stay.

The hotel was infested with roaches. Roaches in the bathroom, roaches in our bed. Disgusting. Staff seem to already know about the roach infestation and did not really care. Will never stay here again.

I had to walk through garbage liquids to get to the front entrance. Was informed that was the only way to enter the hotel. The front concierge literally did the bare minimum due to the property changing ownership.

We had an unexpected 12-hour layover from 6 pm to 6 am and decided to stay at an airport hotel. Being extra tired I did not read the reviews. First I would say this is not on airport property, it is in Queens. It is under construction and the area to me seems unsafe. It is also a hotel that is housing immigrants. I did not feel safe. The one positive was that our room was on a renovated floor and not combined with the immigrant area. We got to our room, and it was nice. But the sheet had human hair on it and that was the last straw. Having paid and needing to sleep, we rearranged the bedding, slept a few hours, and then had the hotel call an early morning taxi. The staff was kind and I hope the management gets this place under control. Until then stay somewhere else.

This property is currently renovating, which is fine. The construction noise from the 9th floor is not disruptive. However, our room has cockroaches, 2 by our beds, a few by the TV and plenty in the bathroom. The nighttime desk service staff seemed like they didn’t want to be at work and didn’t have any knowledge about breakfast prices. I recommend booking at another hotel instead of the Radisson.

Be very wary of this hotel! They stated at check-in that there would be a $150 holding charge on my credit card for incidentals and made it clear that there would be no charge on the card if there were no incidentals, it was only pending. They have subsequently charged my card $150 despite no incidentals and they refuse to respond to my calls to have the charge reinstated. I will never use this hotel again.

Hotel is under construction so the lobby is a mess and everything is handled manually. We waited on a very long line to check in while people were assisted by filling out manual paperwork for their stay. For the price being paid in the dirty area by JFK Airport with not one store or restaurant or anything nearby, this is entirely overpriced for a sub par airport hotel. The beds were comfortable and sheets were clean but not new. They definitely need to update the bathrooms and linens during the remodel.

I just check in with my baby and the lights not working now they moved us and the bed has hairs on the sheets the tub has hair.. my point is it’s after midnight and we are tired… no recommended

I was SOOO disappointed with this site. I booked through Expedia. Had I known there was SO much construction I would not have reserved. I feel like I could have done MUCH better for the cost. This hotel should have been closed to guests with this kind of renovation. And no dinner? Just coolers in the lobby and the buffet in the "grand ballroom" after you walk through the disgusting "hallway of doom"- such a disgrace. I will never visit a Raddison property again after this. The staff was kind but I am sure they get yelled at all day by guests because of the state of the site. I only have 2 stars for their sake. I did have 1 housekeeper sweep a room clean and sweep the refuse into the hall just as I walked by and it went all over my feet. This is just a poorly owned site. I don't blame the staff- I don't even blame the desk managers, I blame the chain and its owners for allowing this. I would LOVE some money back on this expensive halfway house.

Please be aware when booking this property. The lobby is under construction and a real mess. There is also not an acceptable food option there - they have a "temporary" space set up in a ballroom with shaving dishes and very sad looking tables and chairs. I ended up walking two blocks to get to the Marriot for dinner. They didnt inform us of the construction when the property was booked. It was also VERY hard to reach them regarding how to catch the hotel shuttle at JFK. No return emails and 5 calls later I finally reached someone at the hotel - she was harried and borderline rude. Do yourself a favor and book in one of the other immediate hotels until Radison gets its act together.

Property is currently being remodeled. So construction items seen throughout the property. Room was clean but AC was also very loud.
