I’ve stayed here before and wasn’t completely happy with the stay but wanted to give a second chance. I’m sorry I did. The first we had the A/C rattled nonstop and the thermostat on the wall was broken and hanging off. I asked to change rooms and the one we got the A/C was better but the cleanliness was subpar. Mold on the ceiling and in bathroom and smelled of mildew. Multiple dogs on the hall barking at all hours of day and night (small yappy barks and large German shepherd type barks. Hot tub broken and the front desk staff was less than friendly.

Arrived Friday & received excellent check -in service! Saturday am - early evening was great! Around 9:00 pm upon arrival from attending an event, from the back of the building’s parking lot I could hear a dog barking. As we entered our room the barking continued & it seemed to be 2 dogs! I visited the front desk & had to wait about 30 minutes for the desk person to return. A maintenance person started she would return shortly. The desk person asked if I knew what room the dog(s) was in. I did not know and was surprised she did not hear it. I confirmed with the maintenance person that he heard the barking. The dedk pers shared she could only be of assistance if she knew the room number. Later the dogs stopped barking. It was a disruptive period during my short stay.

Great hotel and great location in walking distance to beach, food, and snacks. Pool area is clean. Staff was great! Kind and courteous. We were on the 3rd floor and there was a heavy musty mildew smell in the corridors and our room.

Second time staying at this property and always pleased with the service & cleanliness. The king size handicap room is extremely spacious and had more than enough room to get around in and all the convenience amenities needed for my stay! Breakfast bar is a little pricy for the items on it, and pool is decent but would stay again for sure!

The only nice thing I can say about this hotel is the gentleman at the front desk, I believe his name was Matthew. He was very accommodating and pleasant, even though he had deal with rude customers before us. Also the sheets seemed to be pretty clean. Other than that this Hilton Garden was not up to the Hilton name. There was a big hole in the wall, that had dried dirty water marks running down the wall. The carpet was soaked in about a quarter of the room, not to mention what looked like dog poop stain close to the entrance. The shower wouldn’t drain and was not clean, so we didn’t even bother to shower. The pool was also pretty gross. Luckily we were only there for one night, otherwise I would’ve moved hotels.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at St Augustine. The hotel is undergoing needed refresh and the newer areas are beautiful while the older areas are still in need of updating. Staff was helpful and locations is fantastic! Will stay again.

Our room was so roomy.We got a room with the soaking tub. I enjoyed it in the evenings. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but it was small. No free breakfast but I knew that going in. We had a refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. Bathroom was extra roomy with tub and a separate shower. It was great. My husband and I weren't bumping into each other! I would stay again.
