We picked to stay at this hotel because we are familiar with the Sonesta ES Suites in other areas and we really enjoyed staying there along with the comfort of the hotel and the amenities they offer. However, this one was a bit below the standards set by the others we’ve been to. First night we were there, I’m pretty sure I witnessed some shady business go down in the back parking lot which was broken up when a cop drove by thank goodness. The lady quickly got out of the car and ran back inside but put a piece of metal in the door to keep it propped open. That didn’t make me feel safe at all. The overall appearance of the hotel and the lobby were very nice however the rooms need some renovations. The couch in our room was stained and the pull out bed was broke. The sink was leaking every time I tried to wash anything in the kitchenette and I found that out by my feet getting wet. The smoke alarm system went off 2 days in a row and scared the heck out of us. There were some positives as well. The hotel itself was quiet and in a walkable area with lots of stores and restaurants around. The neighborhood itself seemed pretty safe too with many officers patrolling the area. The bed was very comfortable. The linens and towels were clean and soft. The shower was excellent and the water was nice and warm. When checking out, I told them about the things wrong in the room and she said she would pass it on to maintenance to get the sink looked at and they are working to renovate slowly.

Good accommodation if you need to conduct business in the surrounding office buildings and stores are in walking distance. The reception is hit and miss - some workers are very pleasant, and some are not so great and hiding in the back. Lately the quality of this property has gone down and apparently there are groups of people that live there permanently and cook food that smells through the hallways ...

We had an excellent stay at the Sonesta ES! The suite was spacious, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a combo living, dining, kitchen. One bedroom had a desk and the other had a comfy chair. This hotel is in an excellent location near the Perimeter Mall with easy access to major north/ south and east/west freeways. However it is slightly removed a few streets back from the noisy hustle and bustle. The hotels decor on the outside is attractive and the grounds are very neat. The lobby area is welcoming and we were greeted immediately by the clerk. We found all the staff we interacted with to be exceptionally friendly and capable. The rooms are remarkably quiet and comfortable. However, ours did have a few knicks and dings (laminated flooring that had obviously been wet and cupped creating ridges and separations that were potential trip hazards, a tear in the box spring and a hole in the bed skirt). These things, while mostly minor, are not very attractive and are items that could easily and inexpensively be replaced or repaired. The kitchenette was a pleasant surprise. The bed was a bit firm for my taste but that is simply a matter of personal preference. My spouse prefers a more firm mattress and slept soundly. The complimentary breakfast was adequate in comparison to other chains such as Holiday Inn Express or Hampton. We give the location and the staff 5 stars but the issues we noted reduce the rating we can give to 4. Overall we felt the place was well located, reasonably priced, quiet, comfortable and we would stay here again.

The property smelled like hot garbage when we first walked in to check in. This smell would come and go throughout our stay getting stronger at certain times of the day. Our room was nice though. We were very please with that.

I usually don't review places, but I always study the user reviews to truly know what kind of place I may be staying. So figured I would give my experience.
We really like the Sonesta at Perimeter Center and have been staying here for years. This was around our 10th time staying here. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a nice location as there is a Target complex across the street, as well as various other stores nearby (including the mall). There are a few options for breakfast at the hotel including eggs, sausage, home fries, and pancakes as well as other standard fare. We visit Atlanta for Braves games 1-3 times a year, and always travel with 2 families. The 2 bedroom suites with kitchen and living room are more than enough room for us, and we really enjoy having the common areas to hangout in. The pool is nice in the warmer months.
I only have a couple of negatives with one tying into a positive. The hotel definitely has areas of wear and tear starting to show over the past couple of years. A couple of times we have needed maintenance to unclog a tub from the previous group, but they are always nice and prompt. The main and more recent negative that we have experienced over the past 4 trips (1-2023, 3-2024) is that we seem to always be roomed near or have to pass a room that's clearly been smoking weed inside. It is down the hallway and unmistakable. I can deal with it as an adult, but would rather not have my young kids around that. 8/10

They didn't have any clean washcloths for me to use. I was given hand towels instead. The couch had white stains on it, and it was very hard and uncomfortable. I couldn't enjoy the living area at all.
