We stayed here twice this past month. The hotel is clean, updated and has a good breakfast. The beds are hard, but the room was spotless and the linens crisp and clean. Our only issue was at checkin when they had not reserved my room but did have other rooms on the same booking. They found me a room and all was well. The staff are friendly.

Was moved to 3 rooms in my stay of 2 nights... 1st room was not what i booked and was eventually moved to a room type that was booked online.. 2nd room aircon did not work and on 2nd day moved to 3rd room.

Always a pleasant stay, lovely rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, and helpful staff, plus lots of parking. Stay here every time we go to Johannesburg.

Everything was excellent except for the service at the restaurant. We ordered burgers for 3 people which took nearly 90 minutes to be served!!! I had two very hungry children with me and we especially didn't order out as we didn't want to wait too long - at no stage did anyone apologise nor tell us how long we would have to wait - if we had known he was too busy in the kitchen we could have made an alternative plan.

Disappointing. No water for first day but not due to a fault of the hotel. Room...no telephone. Breakfast...ridiculously expensive.Cafe/Bar hours very poor....only open in afternoon and evening and not at lunch time.Hindsight...there are guest houses and B & B's in the area that offer far better value for money.

We stayed here because of the hotels proximity to the hospital. It was very clean and comfortable. The booking was not so easy as originally we were told on the phone that the hotel was full, but via a website we managed to book a room. The rooms could benefit from 2( not just 1) bigger tea cups, a bar fridge and a bigger dustbin. Overall thanks, was very good.
