Staff, decor and rooftop restaurant

In our junior suite bathroom 1220, the sink was kind of stopped up, the water went down very very slow, it was an inconvenience for two guests, that’s why I only gave a 9

Unser Zimmer lag im 14. Stock, von wo wir einen guten Überblick auf die Skyline der Stadt hatten. Es war geräumig und gut ausgestattet mit allem, was wir brauchten. Das Hotel befindet sich integriert in einer Mall mit den exklusivsten Geschäften, wie Gucci, Armani, Dior etc., aber auch für jeden Geschmack etwas. Die Atrium-Bauweise des Hotels ist außerordentlich beeindruckend. Innenliegend befinden sich Restaurants, Bar, und die vier außen angebrachten beleuchteten Fahrstühle, die fortwährend in Betrieb waren. Die Hotelzimmer waren über die umlaufenden Flure zu erreichen. Ein imposanter Anblick. Das Frühstück ließ keinen Wunsch offen. Und wenn wir das Hotel durch die Mall verließen, kamen wir am Nelson-Mandela-Square raus.

Getting a bit old, in need of renovations - in particular the bathrooms. Rather noisy. Rooms built around bar / lounge area, and doors not very sound proof. Weekend nights loud music from pool area (fortunately it stops at around 10 - 12 pm.

Comfortable hotel, perfect location for our needs. On site parking was convenient. Extensive breakfast buffet.

Room took over an hour to prepare due to 'miscommunication' from booking. Com about the bed preference.

Missed my walk-in closet from Intercontinental Closet WAY too small for 2 persons AND you couldn’t even open the one door Breakfast staff are too stretched to serve everybody

Always wanted to stay here, finally managed to book a couple of rooms (friends and family) now that pre Covid travel has resumed. Stayed 2 nights. Breakfast is good, sun deck great (music a little too loud), didn't eat lunch or dinner however the food did look amazing. Brilliant location and easy walk from the G train.

staff were very kind

we got a room we’re the sink was blocked and we couldn’t use it. the kettle didn’t worked, we asked for help/hot water twice and no one came.

The hotel is modern, stylish, and comfortable. Good food and good staff.

The booking experience is faulty. I paid at the hotel and ended up paying more than advertised on Booking.com. Some minor leaks and evidence of past leaks in bathroom.

Location - location - location Although, it is surprising that the area is not as safe as we thought we were robbed around the hotel

breakfast menu was very basic - not much of selection and the taste is minimal. for 1 5 star hotel, we expected better selection of breakfast and general menu

Great location in the city with easy access to the mall. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed the well equipped gym.

The bar service was very very slow. You could easily wait 20 minutes to be served and in between drinks

I had an amazing stay! The staff has made me feel like home 🥰 everyone was very friendly and more then happy to help. Chili (grace) who served me dinner was such a sweet lady and always smiling. I'll definitely return and that mostly because of the warm welcome by the staff. Kind regards, joline
