Surounding in Legian was a bit to hectic for our taste, but the hotel itself is absolutely perfect. It’s very well maintained and staff is very friendly.

A mixed bag of thoughts on this place!
First off, I'd like to say that you can not fault the staff here, They are always so happy to help, to serve and in general make you feel welcome in every department.
We asked for a quiet room, and although we were upgraded, I feel as if we were put in the busiest part of the resort.
The grounds are amazing and well kept, along with the pools.
Not so good parts!
This is not a resort for couples. It's aimed purely at families and unfortunately ruined our experience of the place due to this, there are literally screaming kids everywhere from 7am in morning.
We paid for club upgrade service, absolute waste of money in my opinion, I was hoping this would be a child free zone, unfortunately not!
Afternoon drinks timed between 5-7pm is too early, this is the time most people are going back to there rooms to shower, get changed, so you have to rush back to room to make use of it.
I was told I could not go in one evening as I had a vest on (I'm on holiday and it's very hot) just ridiculous.
The only place you can escape from kids is at the infinity pool nearest the beach, this also has a major flaw as it is surrounded by tree's, and only a few select beds get the sun, I honestly think they need to address this situation as many others were not happy about it either.
To sum up
Family resort, not for adults looking for a relaxing time, I certainly would not return, but would say the staff are a credit to the place.

Awesome staff, facility is always kept clean. No one ever expected or demanded a tip just an overall good experience. If you’re trying to decide look no further this is the spot for you.

The staff were all welcoming, helpful and pleasant. Best we have experienced for a long time.
The facilities and grounds are well kept and there is plenty of variety and allowance for families and single/couple adults.
We would definitely stay again.

It was very great to stay with my family. The hotel is connected with beach and most of the customers are very nice and come with their family.
I felt very safe and comfortable. I want to give special thanks to Mori who helped us communication between Korean and English, because of her we could stay more comfortable and I guess I will find this hotel next time again.

Adult pool was the saving grace for our stay and they actually enforced it, though again couldn't escape the piped music. Seriously, if people need to listen to music all the time, they should use their own personal devices and not subject the rest of us to it!

Well maintained property, clean, great service and staff all friendly people and very accomodating. Well organised and managed resort. Only criticism is not enough seating at breakfast with so many guests in hotel.
I would suggest more seating area or spread breakfast around resort in different areas.

The Padma Hotel exceeded my expectations @ every level. The food, the service, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was all FANTASTIC.

I liked the staff’s performance and attitude. Our room was good always kept clean. Food was ok. The pool wasn’t our favorite. The infinity pool didn’t really have ocean views unfortunately.

Staff go above and beyond, always friendly and so so helpful. Staff were always so accomodating. Grounds are immaculate, the room was deluxe and clean with all the ammenities you would require.
