The hotel rooms are tired. The Aircon isn't powerful enough, the showers are more like a hose, the rooms are small and the decoration is tired. It's comfortable enough but not somewhere I'd want to spend more than I night. The location is convenient.

Everything was good until after checkout. Without notice, they sent me an email receipt charging us for the room a second time. I had already paid Hotels.com in full for the two days, back on July 5, 2023. I checked my credit card statement to verify payment. However Florida Windsor said they never received the payment. So now, I've paid twice, plus Hotel.com's service fee.

The stay was very comfortable. Although it's not by the beach and does not have an ocean view the hotel is well located close to a busy, safe street. (The beaches in Flamengo are not for swimming anyway, nor are the beaches in Copacabana or Ipanema for that matter because of sewage.) There are many restaurants, shops, markets, pharmacies, bars close by, and just around the corner is a self-service laundromat, which is great to use. The food in the hotel is fine, although after five days of the same breakfast, we were a bit tired of the same menu. Maids make up the room nicely and leave extra towels if you ask. I usually left them 10-20 reais tip. Our room was the higher end executive room, so it was plenty spacious, though not huge, and had a nice bathtub with hydromassage. Really clean and fine.

This hotel was fantastic, staff are all really helpful. The rooms are plenty big enough and are cleaned daily. The breakfast buffet was amazing, so much food to choose from. Great stay.

Beautiful and well maintained property in a convenient location of Rio. We were there for New Years Eve parties and the location made it easy to attend as well as quick to get to Ipanema. The only strange policy they have is they wouldn’t allow my friend to come up to our room when we were getting ready.

We stayed here for NYE and it didn’t job. The rooms are rather small and not updated but they are clean. The food is as not much to rave about but a decent selection. The neighborhood has a lot to offer.

I stayed in Brazil for 2 weeks in 7 different hotels. This is the worst out of the 7. First of all, as a VIP member, I didn't get any benefits from the hotel, no upgrade, no greetings, nothing at all. Secondly, the room we got was extremely small (and cannot be upgraded); The last but worst part is the dirty of the room. My girlfriend felt ichy after sleeping there for one night, we have to call the clean lady to come and replace all the bad sheets so that she was able to sleep well on the second day. Overall, I would NOT recommend this hotel as it received the lowest score among my 7 hotels in Rio.

They don’t care about a vip status!! I paid for a superior doble room and because of a number of person they give me a standard room.

Very comfortable and the staff was exceptionally helpful and caring. The dining was delicious and the restaurant staff in particular were very warm and friendly. The fejoada was particularly tasty, better than what we experienced at other restaurants.
