Comfortable hotel for a decent rate. A little bit dated, but that is understandable for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would gladly stay again. But do know, there is no elevator. Wasn't a big problem for us as we were only on the second floor.

Picked for locality to family, although clean, the property was shabby, noisy early in the morning, the shower and toilet are raised and would be difficult for some. The decor left a lot to be desired but you get what you pay for. The property was chosen due to its proximity to family, and although it was clean, it appeared shabby and experienced noise disturbances early in the morning. The raised shower and toilet may pose difficulties for some individuals. Furthermore, the decor was lacking in quality, but this is to be expected when paying a lower price.The property was chosen due to its proximity to family, and although it was clean, it appeared shabby and experienced noise disturbances early in the morning. The raised shower and toilet may pose difficulties for some individuals. Furthermore, the decor was lacking in quality, but this is to be expected when paying a lower price. Staying close to the waterfront, a charming breakfast spot, and a coffee shop made the short visit more tolerable.

Very basic. Outdated and in need of repairs. No hot water. Very dimly lit room. Close to a few restaurants, stores and water taxi.

Absolutely NOT recommended. Beds have springs coming out of them. Lumpy pillows. Paint peeling on ceiling. Lots of noise in the middle of the night and despite managements claim of quiet time they don’t seem to care. Sketchy crowd of people staying here.

The staff were amazing, very helpful and always saying hello etc, the staff were constantly cleaning, the property was a little dated, but it was obvious that many upgrades and repairs were being done on the property. The mattress needs to be replaced (thats very important for a hotel obviously). We had a fridge and that made a world of difference since we stayed there about two weeks. The staff and their great attitudes were the stars of the show.

The good - the rooftop deck has a spectacular unobstructed view of the bay, if you are able to climb 5 flights of steep steps to get there. The bad, we were put in a room with an air conditioner that was obviously broken (cooling but a constant sound like a lawn mower) and it was clear from the conversation among the staff members that this was intentional, not accidental. Maybe they thought we wouldn't complain. At any rate the only room available with AC that did not sound like a lawnmower cost more and they insisted that we pay for the upgrade. The irony is that they have a different rate for rooms without AC - they could have charged that lower rate for the lawnmower room and it would have made sense.
The condition of the beds and rooms, and the property in general, was pretty down in the heel as well. Reasonably clean, just way past their prime. For the price, that might be expected.
