One of the nicest hotel experiences I have had in Asia. Lovely hotel and excellent location just steps from Formosa Blvd KMRT station. The staff was uniformly helpful and knowledgeable about Kaohsiung. I will definitely be back to work explore more and will definitely stay at the Dua.

This hotel has been my preferred choice whenever I visit my family in Kaohsiung since 2016. The service is always exceptional, and the front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. The room size varies, so make sure to choose the one that suits your needs. The amenities in the room are comfortable, and I have no complaints. However, I would like to suggest that they add weights to the fitness center. The breakfast buffet is enjoyable, and I have had it in the past when it was included in the room rate. If not, there are plenty of options available around the hotel. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby, and parking is included.

super close to MRT exit, just the mattress collapse at the middle that means used long time and need to replace (for Rm1010)

Decor of the hotel was great. Breakfast was great. However, below are few improvement that hotel needs to make: 1 The credit card I used for booking was compromised. Hotel could not do pre-authorize. I could not update payment information. Hotel could not accept my new credit card info. I had to fill a form (on the road) or else they would cancel my booking even though I assured them that I was already in Taiwan and will be there. This was the only hotel among all 7 bookings I made in Taiwan. Not customer friendly at all. 2. Water pressure and WIFI at hotel was SUPER weak. I was disappointed as the hotel is nice.

Since I got a new card and cancelled old card, hotel could not do pre-authorization. Hotel emailed me saying that if I did not provide a new card for pre-authorization along filling the authorization form, my booking of two rooms for 2 nights would be cancelled. I told them that I was already in Taiwan and on the road. Hotels.com does not allow update on credit card information. I had no way to print out the form and sent back. Hotel insisted. Out of 7 bookings I made in Taiwan, Hotel Dua was the only one that insisted on that. Caused a lot of unnecessary inconvenience. This is a huge minus on customer service. 2.
