The Graduate is a lovely property right by USC. The decor is very quirky and makes you feel like you have walked into a mix of a dorm and a dolls house. The room was spacious and very clean. The bath/shower was a bit tired, which was a little disappointing, as the rest of the bathroom and the bedroom looked fairly new. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall, it was great value, very pleasant, in an unbeatable location and, quite possibly, the best place to stay in Columbia, so I would come back!

I loved the motif of this hotel. It was so colorful and fun. The bed was so comfortable and it was so quiet we slept in every morning (which we never do)! We did not get daily maid service. Perhaps we were supposed to ask for it. We also asked for our safe to be fixed and were not told until day 4 that it was not fixable and they are discontinuing that service. The front desk and bar staff were super friendly and accommodating! Overall, a great experience and we would stay again.

Very surprised that coffee was not complimentary as is in almost any hotel these days and in the room only instant coffee was offered. Also disappointed that I could not login into my own tv apps like Netflix, etc. The tv system was not good.

Clean rooms with really cool decor!

We recently stayed to move our son into Columbia Hall for his freshman year. The location and convenience can't be beat!! The Graduate Hotel is really cute, the bar/restaurant area and lounges both indoor and outdoor are great. The hotel is on the older side and in particular the bathrooms show it. The rooms were also very humid, so our bedding and Kleenex were always a little damp. We had to shove our bathroom door to close it. The grout needed to be redone. Overall, we will probably stay again due to the convenience, but would love for them to do some updates to the rooms.

Graduate staff is always amazing! This hotel is our "go to" place when visiting Columbia for USC - great rooms, friendly, supportive staff, and convenience to campus cannot be beat!

Came here for the weekend with some girlfriends. It's in a quiet location and walkable to the main street for restaurants and shops. The check-in process was a little complicated but otherwise, great stay

Great USC hotel

Reagan the desk manager was wonderful when we arrived. 😊 The room itself was large. The frig had to be defrosted which I mentioned to front desk And the bathrooms are ridiculously small. They should change out the bathroom door to a barn door. Because the bathroom door opens into bathroom and takes up so much space. ☹️ Bed mattress was very comfortable. Hilton hotels have the worst firm mattresses (like sleeping on a plywood box of wood) which when I learned the Graduate was purchased by them I was concerned. There was adequate parking and trolleys for luggage. I ate dinner which was not put into a box so by the time I got it back to my room it was cold. ☹️ The hotel is confusing because ir is shaped like a horseshoe so maps at the elevator would help. Morning coffee was very good. And the staff very pleasant. And the carpets were delightful. Football and peaches. 😊

We were in town for an event, so we know prices were a little higher than normal due to that. Under normal pricing, this would be a wonderful value. Super cute hotel within a mile of both Five Points, The Vista, and Downtown Columbia. University is out of session so the area was extra quiet. Would stay here again when visiting Columbia, SC.
