Great stay, just one small suggestion. The stairs going down to the dining area could do with a grab handle or rail on the left as you descend.

Hotel was well positioned for the seafront but did not have a restaurant for lunch or evening meals so it was a bit of a hike to get food. Parking was good with space for 5 cars out front and street parking available too. Room was lovely and well kept with a jacuzzi corner bath and large walk in shower. Water pressure was poor..it took nearly 20 mins to fill the bath and the shower pressure wasn’t suitable for hair washing. Breakfast was provided and service was excellent. If I were to be fussy, I’d prefer not to look straight into a kitchen full of buckets and cleaning things whilst I eat, but it wasn’t the end of the world (it just ruined the illusion). Breakfast itself was well cooked and tasty…again if I were to be fussy, the poached eggs were over cooked (dry) and the toast was warm bread with no sign of changing colour. However that could happen at any hotel! All in all a pleasant stay, with friendly staff and great cleanliness

Large room, good breakfast and excellent location for our needs.

I let them know that I might be late checking in and they were very helpful about that possibility- in the end it wasn’t necessary. Room was lovely and uniquely decorated. Shower pressure absolutely awful sadly. Breakfast has a great selection but I’d prefer if it started at 0700 instead of 0730.

Very pleasant staff , clean , quiet, great breakfast.

The staff were so helpful & accommodating, we were on the top floor, which was difficult for us as 4 flights of stairs, the lovely young lady on reception said she would check to see if she could change are room to ground floor, which made all the difference to our stay. Food was lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful! Delicious vegetarian breakfast (lots of options!) which was actually served to you fresh and hot rather than a buffet help yourself style and with the nice touch to opt for room service at no extra cost if you wanted. The room was very comfortable and the hotel was within a short scenic walk past a lake with swans and then along the seafront to town. Parking was also included (permit provided if there’s no space on the hotel grounds). We can’t fault it and will definitely stay here again!

On arrival Lady on reception was very helpful and even carried our luggage up to our room for us. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Would certainly recommend.

Hotel room was missing a few essentials like water and towels but this was immediately rectified when we spoke to desk porter. He was helpful and polite and a credit to the hotel. He was the night porter I’m guessing as was there until 4.00 am. The following day all staff were excellent, cheerful and helpful. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

In reality, the property is only slightly above mediocre due to the following: wire and plastic hangers in armoire, flat screen TV not mounted and cables exposed, plastic plants, dirty plastic signage on desk, box of tissues with no tissue holder, bed lamp cord cable plugged into wall 3 feet from bed and exposing cable, no reading lights on bed head board, peeling wallpaper, room overlooked gravel drive way with parked cars and bus stop

Nice enough hotel, but had to wait 10 mins for the shower to run luke warm. This is a bit daft considering there was a whirlpool bath actually in the room. Why not spend less effort on having gimmicks that probably rarely get used and more time on getting the everyday things right. Staff were super friendly though and would probably stay again.
