My room has a window with views of building next door, quite disappointing. Coffee in lobby doesn’t open till 10am! Elevators get really busy at time.
Room is good size for Japan, love having the table and chairs, good amenities in room, didn’t use the sauna, laundromat is a plus, location is good, lots of food options nearby

Hotel is in a very convenient location for restaurants and transport. My main criticism of the room is that there were no drawers or shelves to put away clothes. The other problem was the lifts were very slow.

I liked the European style. Also the size of the room was very comfortable. Coin operated laundry was very helpful. Delicious breakfast with many options.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kobe Monterey. Great location, excellent friendly and helpful staff and a large room by Japan standards - with an openable window! Would highlly recommend

Stayed for 6nights. The room was bigger as Japanese standard. Hotel stuffs were very helpful.
What would be lacking is an iron, bigger desk and drawers.
Overall it was a great stay. I would stay again.

Very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Convenient for both train stations in Kobe.

Hotel in excellent location but room gloomy and very basic . No bedside tables and very little work top . Although seemed to have been renovated carpet and curtains let it down badly .
Bathroom small but seemed new and clean.

Many good restaurants nearby. And there are different railway station (JR, metro, private railway) in the area. So that you can easily go to sightseeing point. But Make sure you won’t get in the wrong railway. Shopping area is in walking distance

A good hotel with good accessibility to transport, food and shopping. Parking at the hotel is relatively easy.

Very convenient location near the train station and lots of restaurants. Hotel staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to help with my parking and also made good food recommendations.
