A lovely couple of days staying at No.42. Lovely suite with views over the beach. For lucky with the weather too, so lots to do around Margate.

An unexpectedly lovely hotel in Margate booked at the last minute. We really appreciated the location, the decor, the facilities and the parking. We came in winter but are already planning a return trip in summer.

We were staying in Margate for a family wedding. No 42 was a wonderful surprise. Everything from the bar which is relaxing, dining and the incredible views to or too. Which was full of character. Perfect and the pantry is a nice and unexpected touch.

Staff were professional, friendly and very helpful at all times. Our 1-night stay was lovely, room very well kept and the pantry was a bonus. Lovely cocktail drinks on rooftop, helped by an amazing summers day. Brilliant location and very much enjoyed our lunch on the terrace overlooking the beach.

We had a fantastic time, the staff were absolutely amazing. The room we had was superb, the bed super comfortable and very clean and bright. The food was good.

I loved everything about this hotel! So cute and quirky. Everyone was so nice. The spa is beautiful and the treatment was fantastic. Rooftop bar was a nice surprise as well. Just fab! Can’t wait to go back.

If you're feeling peckish there's a small pantry on the second floor which has pick and mix sweets, cakes, cold drinks, fruit etc which is all complimentary 24 hours a day. Breakfast is served in the ground floor restaurant again with great views of the beach and harbor. Thoroughly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again.

Dinner was all booked up by the time I checked in as it was a Sunday and everything closes a bit earlier but I got an excellent recommendation from the staff for the restaurant next door which was amazing. Breakfast in the morning was delicious (you can eat overlooking the sea) and I also tried a treatment the spa which was great (they give you a sample of the oil they use in your massage which was a lovely touch). I'd definitely return.

Lovely room, great service (the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or friendlier). Good facilities with nice extras and surprises. Make sure you watch the sunset with a drink on the roof top bar.
