The property is conveniently located in the center of town surrounded by restaurants, coffee shops, the co-op. This is a good central location to see the Cotswold area. No lift, spiral stairs are a little hard with heavy suitcases. Only tub under angled roof, no shower, or shared bath.

It is a nice place, very clean and cozy. Be sure to get the access code for entry ahead of time. There is not a front desk

Lovely place, unstaffed but easy access. Only issue was it was very hot even with a fan on a day that was 20 degrees C outside, so would be unbearable in the height of summer. Fan was in the room, but didn’t do much. Open windows wouldn’t have helped due to road noise.

Room 3 with the bath in the bedroom is lovely and everything you need for your stay is put out for you in the room. There is no reception so you are given a key code for both the outer door and room door. The only problem we had was the road noise as this went on until past midnight. Stow has a lot of through traffic Other than that a very pleasant stay

We had a lovely stay, had breakfast at a small cafe called Hacketts which was excellent , just over the road , The room was very nice , access was easy with door codes for main door and room door.

Our room was gorgeous. It was very large and the decor was beautiful.

Great location, free 72hr car park only a 10 min walk away. Lots of lovely nearby tea rooms and shops. Handy to have a shared fridge so we could buy our own food. Room could have been cleaner. We kept finding lots of dark hairs everywhere, and we are both fair. Our room only had a bath, and the hot tap and jug provided to wash with was dirty. There was a big black stain on the duvet cover (looked like ink or something). We turned this the other way so we didn’t have it near us when sleeping, but it didn’t fill us with confidence that everything was clean. Rooms weren’t very soundproof into the hallway either. We heard neighbours coming and going, slamming doors and talking clearly outside in communal areas. We enjoyed our stay, but aspects could definitely be improved.

We initially thought there was on site parking- but we’re able to find street parking fairly easy Thought there was a shower but tub instead- we managed with the shower attachments Bedding g was nice but pillows could be more firm… my pillow.com We’d stay stay again if the opportunity presented

We liked the cleanliness and simplicity of the room and the comfortable bed. The sherry was a very nice touch. Ideal for a short stay, we would certainly book again.

Victoria house has a great location in Stow on the Wold. My room (6) was on the top floor. It was a superior room which was beautifully decorated and had a practical en-suite. My room overlooked the front of the property and had a great view but the road was very noisy outside even at night. I had a lovely stay.
