Clean apartment near the Acropolis in Athens. Great price.

There were pros and cons. The communication was great. The property was responsive and detailed. However the property itself was just ok. The building is old and run down. The unit was fine but we encountered a cockroach. Notified management and they seem unphased and said it’s just the season. I’m sorry but that is not acceptable. They need pest control. To add to inconvenience the wifi network was down the entire day we were there. Management called and said it’s a network problem so it wasn’t their fault. The furniture is cheap and the place smelled musty. After the cockroach encounter it was difficult to fall asleep knowing there could be more. Luckily we were only there for one night. I would not stay there for anything longer. We did not feel comfortable there.

Close proximity to everything, clean and easy to find!

Clear instructions made self assist easy enough.

Odd smell in the room, felt moist and circulation was not great.

We were provided several emails with clear instructions for check in. Room was comfortable and good location close to where we wanted to be.

Great location, very close to Acropolis. Apartment was in excellent condition and clean. The check in and check was super easy with clear instructions received. Will highly recommend!

It is common to have a 3:00 check-in to a hotel/property but if the room is available, it’s okay to check in as soon as the room is ready. This does not appear to be the case here, it is firm 3:00 rule for check in. When they say they will release the code at 11:30, don’t think that means you can get in early. When you call them at their posted phone number, they do not answer, nor is there a voicemail. They never returned the call to ensure everything was satisfactory- until this survey. Everything else was very good.

Nice place and location. Only thing I didn't like, was communication with hostess, and 8 days of reservation, they never change bath towels, or add paper on toillet. They should better this small things. The company makes cleaning on other unit, told about extra charge to change bath towels, and make quick cleaning. I suggest, if you need to stay longer days, to make 2 or 3 reservations, than they will need to clean room and change towels and paper.

Room size and facilities were all good, but when you receive firm instructions about check in and NOT SMOKING IN THE ROOM, it’s not a great to then walk into a room that smells like someone just finished smoking an entire packet of cigarettes. Granted when we called they responded by sending the cleaner in, however, she just told us that’s how the room smells, and then sprayed the window in the toilet (the source of the smell from downstairs) and the curtains with febreze. This, of course had no effect on the smell, and after over 24 hours of travel, the smell of the room and the consequent smell of all our belongings at the start of our trip was not ideal. The price for the room is really appealing for the size and location, but I wouldn’t stay there again unfortunately.

I booked the Raise Acropolis before and after our cruise. Our flight was canceled, unseeable circumstances, so I messaged the hotel and they said they will give me a refund. Later on an email was sent and they said they made a mistake & there will be no refund. After the cruise, we arrived early which I messaged them earlier and they said I could leave the luggage, but the door was locked and nobody answered the phone. We were waiting outside for over 20 minutes before a worker came and let us in. She gave us another number to call but no one was answering for another 30 minutes. Finally somebody answered so that we can return with access on check in time. The next day when we checked out, we tried to get an Uber taxi. He passed us right up since it was on a busy street then he canceled. It took another 20 minutes for us to get another Uber taxi. Due to these experiences, I would recommend a regular hotel that has a lobby does not lock the front door and has a parking lot.

I stayed here as a solo female traveler. This location is fantastic and easy to commute from the airport. The Acropolis is 5 min walk. 8'min walk from Placa where you should eat and VERY safe to be as a solo traveler. Steal of a price and would stay again.
