I had a very comfortable stay at the George which was in a convenient location for my particular visit to the Isle of Man on this occasion. My room was good with an ensuite bathroom which was fine. I appreciated having a well stocked tea and coffee tray in the room. I had a comfortable bed. Castletown is a pleasant place to stay with enjoyable coastal walks from there when the weather is good. Castletown also has a good bus service and the Railway station is not too far away from the centre. Thank you to the staff at the George and I would stay at the George again when in the Isle of Man

Every single member of staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. Crisp clean sheets and a comfy bed in my single room. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful quiet location from which to explore the island. Convenient parking for car/motorcycle. Superb value. Thank-you

Lovely hotel looking out on a beautiful and quaint community square. Lots of outdoor sitting and dining space. The cast Rushen is right out the back door and worth the price of admission.

Well-situated in the centre of town with friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast menu, food quality and cooked to order. Good food served all day and pleasant bar area with wide choice of drinks. Good value and very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Some areas a little in need of updating/refurbishment but characterful and clean throughout.

I have stayed here several times and always been drawn back by the friendly people and warm comfortable atmosphere. It makes my business trip more enjoyable. Great location.

The previous time I have stoped at this holel was Sat 30th September 2023 for one night .
My expreience was only just about average as the customer care was poor.
My dinner was a cold when it arrived and I complained and it took the staff 3 times to actually get a warm dinner to me when after I complained and requested a new dinner. At one stage the staff actuallly forgot about me and I had to remind them at the bar. The food was poor and microwaved and was expensive.
My stay at the George on Sat 11th November2023 was vert much different as the hotel is under new management with staff being customer focused and helpful and a new menu witha good selection of food which is not microwaved.My single room accommodation was also exellent.
