Had an amazing stay. The staff here, whether it be the front desk, cleaning staff or the restaurant staff are all exceptional. I have stayed in many hotels on this trip and the people working at the Clayton Hotel-Charlemont have been some of the best. Thank you again!!

TV cannot play from devices, no fridge. You have to ask for cleaning if you leave the room after 11am. They only made beds and replaced towels on the second day, no hovering or cleaning bathroom and no new water/tea.

Wonderful hotel in a nice quiet area with a Luas stop a short walk away. Helpful and friendly staff. Great choices for breakfast and a decent cocktail menu. Local shop a short walk away and a range of bars and cafes available nearby. Only issue was the failure to mention that during a fire alarm test there are flashing lights which come from the fire alarm on the ceiling of the room. This is worth mentioning especially in regards to guests who may have epilepsy.

Our first night in Ireland was spent here. Very convenient and perfect for our first night of rest. We walked a lot in the area. Felt very safe. Used valet parking which was perfect as we did not want to drive in Dublin. Staff excellent, kind, patient, helpful.

convinient to go to downtown by Green Line. relatively quiet area. bar and bartenders are very good. breakfast quality to be improved comparing other hotels in Ireland.

We were there for the FSU/Ga Tech college football game. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel's location was about 30 minutes walk to the Aviva Stadium, through the Temple Bar area, which was fun. The hotel generally handled the crowd well. Our only complaint is that the on site restaurant closed early because they ran out of food so we had to venture out on foot to find dinner and most of the restaurants in the area closed at 9pm, so we did not have many choices.

The Clayton Hotel at Charlemont in Dublin is a well appointed hotel within a short walking distance to St. Stephen's Green, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Christ's Church, & Grafton Street. It has an excellent restaurant & friendly staff, comfortable beds. It is close to a nearby tram & bus service. It's right next to the river Livey in an exciting part of the city. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Dublin city center.

Did not care too much for the hotel as we got a room that had a lot of problems. If you get a room that start with 36 its an older building and many steps, so try to avoid it

The hotel was easy to locate, beautiful from the entrance doors all the way through into the rooms! Wonderfully spacious rooms, gorgeous lay out and facilities, which was a welcomed treat for my husband and myself's first child free night in some years. Great option for valet parking at an additional fee, but it is 100% worth booking and paying for! You just need to contact and arrange this before attending. Great self check-in and check-out facilities for those happy to zip in / out too, and friendly accommodating staff. The bed was so comfortable, couldnt quite get the hang of the air-conditioning, but thats likely more user error than anything else! And the large walk in shower was pure heaven. About 20-30 minute walk into the Temple area of Dublin City, but there are so many options for bars and restaurants, including a lovely little Syrian restaurant a few minutes away. We will definitely be coming back soon, this was an amazing little gem of a find, especially considering we booked our room with such short notice! Huge thank you to the staff, they were amazing from start to finish.

This was our first stay at a Clayton hotel but it will definitely not be our last. From the clean, spacious room to the super friendly and accommodating staff to the beat coffee and bar drinks that we had during our entire trip, the experience was exceptional. Can’t wait to return on our next trip to Dublin!

Supportive staff

Very clean, safe, quiet area, the staff was helpful and friendly. While the hotel was close to the tram stop, knowing what we know now, it wasn’t as centrally located to the Dublin attractions or restaurants as we would have liked. This was on me as I wanted to be in a quieter location. About 1 hour each way to/from airport on the city bus, including walking to the bus stop. The express bus is faster if needed. The room was nice, our only issue was how wet and humid the bathroom became when anyone showered. The shower has a half wall partition, no door, and the floor does get wet. But the walls also drip with water due to lack of bathroom fan. As typical in European countries there are no washcloths, but we expected this and brought our own. Housekeeping leaves little bags of cookies every day, and the instant coffee was surprisingly good. There is also an espresso bar in the lobby which we did enjoy the day we arrived.

The staff were helpful and provided excellent service. Assisted with finding a clinic for minor health concerns.

Convenient location. Rooms are modern and clean. Staff is great.
