I think we are done staying at Hampton Inn's. It was almost ~ok~ but definitely lacking. 1. The bed was low quality. 2. We were there for 2 nights and housekeeping didn't come after the first night. The beds weren't made and there were towels we placed on the floor, needing to be replaced, but they weren't. 3. The breakfast was substandard. They had cereal, juice, coffee, waffles, biscuits, sausage and gravy and scrammbled eggs. They didn't have any yogurt, hard boiled eggs, danishes, bagels or fruit of any kind. Also, many of the items they did have ran out prior to the end of breakfast time. Most hotels do a much better job with breakfast. Disappointing. We won't be back.

The property is nicely located to the area for help around easy. As far as the hotel, it needs some maintenance done. It was a busy weekend and only one elevator was working, so we spent half our time waiting to go up or down. The carpets need a good cleaning. Two of the four ice machines worked. So we had to go up or down for ice. Normally not an issue, but when you have to wait for elevator coming and going, It was a hassle for sure! The breakfast was ok. Not great. The big batch of sausage gravy wasn't hot, barely warm. I was afraid to eat it. But there were other selections to choose from. The sausage links were good, but the bacon was undercooked and very greasy. The eggs are powered eggs. Not the best. The coffee was good and the waffles were great. We were over charged for our room by $200 but once i brought it back to the clerk, she corrected the error. I'm thankful.

We booked weeks in advance and called a couple of times this week to insure that our rooms were reserved. When we arrived after traveling hundreds of miles with more than 20 of us, we were told that the rooms were oversold and we could only get two of our four rooms. The lady at the front desk pulled some strings and found us two smaller rooms than what we reserved. We still paid full price.

We stay here when we come to Hammond and area. This year the room furniture was poor spots on chairs. Dirty. Bath area needs to be updated. The dead bolt did not work. Door seemed to be not square causing it not to lock. Maybe it was just the room that sees a lot of traffic. We were diapointed this year.

The staff was friendly. However the rooms were not clean. There was dog hair in the bed. And dirty tables when I walked in. The pool was not open. Over all I’d say this was below what the Hampton by Hilton hotels I’ve been at.

Front desk was rude and sarcastic when we asked about the CLOSED POOL and if we could get rooms on same floor as our teammates (travel softball) We were told pool had been closed since January and that should’ve been an info available at the time of reservation. We are a travel softball family and part of our “fun time” is having the players to hang out at the pool Plus the whole hotel smells like pot starting with staff in front desk . Never again !

This hotel was clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were great. The room was super clean and very roomy. I was not impressed with the breakfast. The eggs were bland and cold. The pool was closed.
