This place was so darn cute and the staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly. We loved the 50’s aesthetic, especially the bright red appliances. While the decor is charmingly vintage-inspired, everything felt brand new. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfy. Thanks for your hospitality. We will definitely return!

Such a treat to stay in a place as well put together as the Foothills Motel. It's very tastefully refreshed in a Historic Route 40 matter. We had a lot of fun sipping coffee on the patio while watching the sun rise. You really nailed it with this place.

Cool little motel! The pictures are accurate. Very clean and updated. Exactly what we wanted for a short little getaway to Auburn. My only caveat was they were right off the freeway (would have liked more trees) but its central location was great for sightseeing. A really nice Raley’s Market is close by if you need to grab some snacks.

Great hotel. Had not stayed in a motel since forever and was reminded of how nice it is to unload when the car is in front of the room. All single level and they welcome dogs

Such a cute little motel! Refurbished throwback motel, well done, fresh & neat. We enjoyed our stay here. It is very clean, has cute outdoor seating areas to hang out, a pool, Superchargers onsite, easy freeway access, etc. Great stay!

Everyone we spoke to that worked there was so friendly and hospitable, they really made our trip so comfortable and memorable. The decor is very well done and well put-together. These guys are great! The patio was so nice and although it’s open, it still feels private.

My room had a retro looking (but thoroughly modern functioning) fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. The bed is very comfy with a soft mattress. The staff for checkin was nice and answered questions about the area.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and decorated with a 60s flair, which I enjoyed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room even had a sliding glass door leading to a private covered patio with a view of the pool. We only stayed one night, but we will definitely be back!!
