The apartment was clean and exactly what we was looking for as it was just a base for us to sleep and shower. The staff are friendly, unfortunately parking is not free and is quite expensive and they say there is parking in the area, unfortunately southsea/Portsmouth is on the ball with parking and is mostly only available for locals with a parking permits. If you like pubs,bars and restaurants you are in the right area as there are loads around. Yes i would stay there again.

Room was a little tired but overall okay. Minor issues like ripped wallpaper etc. My only issue was the fact the latch was slightly damaged on the inside so I had no way to properly lock the door. I had to put the chain on and shove a doorstop under the door, as a solo female traveller this made me a little uncomfortable. Walls are very thin so be aware if you’re a light sleeper. I think overall the hotel was okay for the price. You should also note that it seems the hotel staff will go in your room while you are out. No one made me aware that this would happen and I only knew someone had been in as more toilet roll appeared after I had been out for the day. I thought it was a little strange that I had not been told that someone would be going in my room while I was out as I may not have wanted someone going in my room.

We wanted to know the city, houses prices etc. I’m renting at the moment a bedroom in a friends house, but because we wanted some privacy, I decided to book a hotel near my friends house in Southsea, for us to get to know the area. Southsea Inn ( the Inn doesn’t apply to the place to be honest) was, and is, one of the worst places I ever stayed. The room is dated, with wall paper ripped and coming from the walls, cheap furniture, dirty and old carpets, the mattress have some broken springs what makes it really uncomfortable, there’s no spoons etc. The other guests were people that as far I understood, are staying for a while and by the looks of it, are people that is homeless or need some kind of help. Nothing against that, but they shouldn’t mix normal guests with other kind of guests. The rooms are with no sound protection, what means that you hear everything from the outside and vice versa. In a positive not the owners are very polite.

For the price you do not expect a great deal but you do expect a comfortable bed. Mine the springs were shot and camping would have been more comfortable plus i was forced to take a cold shower as there was no hot water. Being able to park was s big plus

The hotel was decent. However it wasn't quite obvious to find and I would recommend getting sign put up on the building or outside. Also having more available parking for overnight stays!

Ok stay, hotel and rooms need some tlc especially re carpets. No fridge in room. Signage on building indicating it would be useful. Not in a great location area is tired and run-down.

Not good, the place needs a good clean and decoration, had to pay £20 deposit,have not had it back yet.kids screeming in the morning

The property was clean. We were put on the top floor, 4 flights up with no lift. My sister doesn't like heights and struggles with stairs. No wardrobe for clothes, just 3 hooks. One pillow each which isn't acceptable. The milk wasn't replenished after the first night & we were there 2 nights. You need 2 milks per cup & there was only six milks for a room that was for 3 people. But only 2 occupants. I wouldn't stay here again

on arrival could not find 10b its 10 then got in side after parking on rubble opened door to find family waiting to book in nobody about finely came got booked in then told 5 pound charge to park on the front of hotel then went to room on the way up construction going on went in to room very basic room nothing like pictures had not cleaned room floor crips every where pedal bin looked like it had been sat on grand children very disapointed grandaughter bed wonky would not reccomend it looks like still being renovated

Arrived to find a building site, had to make my way across builders boards to front door, No local parking nearest was few hundred yards away and cost extra. Probably couldn't get wife to the door especially with luggage so abandoned stay, I doubt they will give a refund
