Our family relaxed at Casa del Sol after a pretty action packed Disney vacation. It was the perfect paradise after our busy Disney adventures. The home is perfect! Plenty of room, bathrooms for every room and a half bath to boot! The units were divided into lower and upper units which allowed togetherness in morning and afternoon and chilling in our own spaces for some privacy too. Perfect for our older and younger members of family! The view off balcony was stunning, beds so comfortable!
And we loved that we practically had a beach with only a few people out front! Yet, the house was right next door to a restaurant that was amply separated by beautiful garden but we could walk right next door and get best food and drinks on the beach as well as several other places within walking distance that were fantastic. We went to the town a few days and saw the historic beautiful sites and charm of the city! Went to an art opening, shopped at cool shops. All the food was delightful and cooked at home one night and ate lunches at home. Caught tons of fish on the nearby pier too! It was truly one of best places I’ve stayed in a long while. It was nice to not be in panhandle for a change and experience Old Florida! I prefer it even though beach and water are very pretty there. Thank you for the best vacation in years!🔆🌊🏝️

This is the perfect unit for an adult family reunion. The two separate units allowed for individuals to get away from the conversations while the each unit had enough sitting groups and space to make a big crowd comfortable. Thank you for a lovely setting for my siblings and I to tell old family stories.

We rented the house for a girls weekend in St. Augustine. There was 10 women and everyone enjoyed the house and location. Right on the beach and easy to get a ride into town. Marta was great, we all would highly recommend this house.

First, of all the VRBOs we've stayed in, this one has the BEST stocked kitchen! All the pans, pots, mixing bowls, dishes, utensils, etc. This was important for the chefs in the group. The layout of the spaces, separate entrances for upstairs/downstairs, gave space for privacy and quiet to those who wanted it (like naps or reading) and space for gathering (like cocktails and dinner). Steps to the beach for walks, watching the sunrise and the surfers. The property manager was very helpful, especially as we had changes to departure due to circumstances beyond our control.

The home was very nice with a well appointed kitchen. We loved having our grown/ married kids and grandchild on the lower level and my older parents with us on the top level (with the beautiful view). Marta was very communicative and responsive. Even though there is a restaurant right next door, the yard is private and we were not bothered by any noise. The restaurant was convenient as our kids liked to pop over for a beer and conch fritters 😉. This was a very nice rental!

Great vacation. Beach house was exactly as advertised. Beautiful, great view and one of the cleanest places that I've stayed at. Owner was very nice and available. I would rent the home again and recommend it to anyone else coming to the area.

We had a good time. Great location, right on the beach and right next to the Beach Comber restaurant which was perfect for a large family (35 adults and little kids). The house was very comfortable for 7 adults and two littles. The house was spacious and clean. We will definitely come back to this place.

Beautiful home right on beach and close enough to restaurants to walk if you want. Very cute area of town. Spacious and open upstairs! Beautiful porches. The house was equipped with anything you need, and the beds slept great! Marta was a wonderful host and checked on us before, during, and after our stay. We will be back for sure!

Casa del Sol was great for the 7 of us mature adults. The bedrooms were comfortable and ensuite bathrooms super. We had plenty of room in the top floor living and dining rooms for all of us to be together when we wanted to be and yet everyone had his/her own space to read or nap quietly. While the kitchen was on the small side, we made it work and prepared some magnificent meals. Very well equipped kitchen! Plenty of hot water, great washers/dryers on both floors--very comfortable. We would certainly recommend this property for a super oceanfront stay! Our only concern was the smoke alarm downstairs that went off twice for no apparent reason. Might want to check the sensitivity level on that. But with that minor issue, we wouldn't hesitate to book Casa del Sol again.

Friends and family gathered for a 75th birthday celebration. A wonderful time was had by all due to a lovely home and perfect beach location along with ideal host that thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and convenient.

This property was perfect. Very clean with updated furnishings and it has everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Plenty of room inside and out. Great restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to the beach. The property was private and spacious. The views were amazing from inside as well as out. Plenty of parking also. This is definitely a great place to stay for families we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Large deck which we really enjoyed using everyday. The host was great and made sure we arrived and had everything we needed. We were more than satasfied and happy with our stay.

The location is outstanding. The property was neat and tidy. Beds were high quality and comfortable. Gathering space was excellent, TVs worked, and the two floor set-up was perfect for the 60 year-olds to take the top floor and the 20-30 year-olds to take the lower level. Guests who visited said our property was an ideal gathering spot, vs. the condo they had rented down the road. Kitchen had everything we needed to dine in, but the Beachcomber (next door), Sunset Grill, and Terra and Acqua were all quality restaurants near by. We don’t often go to the same beach twice, but it might happen here.

Sadly our stay was cut short due to Hurricane Ian and we were directed to evacuate by St John's County. Lucky for us, we took out insurance and will get a refund for 2 days. We liked the beach house so much we will try it again, maybe next spring. BTW, the owner was great to work with!

This house is wonderful we had 8 adults and 5 kids. Plenary of space. Clean comfortable pretty and nice touches like beach chairs and sand toys.
The decks are great! Love that this is a no car section of the beach. I worried that we would be too close to businesses but it was worth derdyll could walk to a coffee shop or surf store. We’ll be back!

There could have been no better place. It was a beautiful setting, in walking distance to coffee shops and a restaurant just right nextdoor. Kids walked to rent surf boards. The view out the window was so picturesque. We were also getting ready for our daughter to get married and had to prepare food there. We had everything we needed. The bridesmaids got ready in a room where the closet had 2 mirrors as they sat and put on their makeup. It was just the perfect combination of beachfront beauty, local dining, fun places within walking distance, and having all that we needed as far as lodging and enjoying the indoors.

Casa Del Sol was everything as advertised and more, there were so many thoughtful touches throughout the house. Marta and Chuck were wonderful hosts, this was a family vacation, with children and grandchildren coming from different parts of the country, some were a bit early, they were allowed to hang around till checkin on the property. The checkin and checkout process was seamless, Marta checked in with me a couple of times to make sure everything was okay during our stay. I can’t emphasize enough how this house checked every box, very very clean and well stocked,
right on the beach and was close to restaurants and stores. What else can I say, it was “Absolutely Amazing”.

Perfect family setting
This location was perfect. The house was great for my large family. It felt like we were isolated from every thing. Yet the beach was just over the sand dunes. It was quiet even though there was a restaurant next door, which was fantastic by the way. I highly recommend it to anyone who was a relaxing get away.

Quarles Anniversary vacation
We loved the layout of the house! It worked perfectly for the two separate families that went. Each family had privacy (1 family of 3 downstairs and the other family of 4 upstairs). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would choose the same house on our next visit. Martha was extremely nice and had excellent communication with us from start to finish. Thank you!
The only downside is the restaurant next door to the house. If the wind blew towards the house you would get a wif of the grease. It is not a deal breaker but if you are pregnant may mess with you a bit (smell is stronger upstairs, downstairs is not bad at all)They also tossed drinks over towards the plants (sometimes in the sand where you walk) so pay attention.

What a location! Walk across the sand to the beach. Listen to the waves from the deck. The house is furnished with all we needed. The hosts are incredibly helpful. We loved having the two separate units for privacy. We would love to return.

This property is sure to please. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was so much room for the six of us. The views from the house/deck are amazing. The restaurant next door was not noisy at all and the food/drinks were delicious. I would definitely book this property again! Thanks so much!

This house is absolutely wonderful. The location is great...walking distance to restaurants and right on the beach. Our favorite place to spend time was on the back patio and in the sand. The communication with the owners was wonderful with clear instructions provided.

Perfect location
The location on the beach and close to restaurants and shops was perfect (and not too noisy). It was nice having two separate areas (upper and lower floors) as we had my family and my sisters family staying. One thing to note is they do not supply the house with some of the basics that most home rentals and hotels do, like shampoo, conditioner, coffee. The kitchen was stocked well with dishes, glasses, pots and pans and such but no plastic wrap, foil, or baggies that you may need if you plan on cooking. All and all it was a nice stay.

The stairs are on the outside not inside so the 2 floors are not connected. This was great for our family traveling with college kids. We had our own space.

Beautiful and care free
Our group of four couples found the accommodations perfect. We had beautiful views and easy access to the beach. The location was in the middle of St. Augustine Beach and easily accessible to St. Augustine.
The house was comfortable and provided all the amenities we would want. Everything worked well and it was very clean and ready for us.
The only reservation we had about the location was the restaurant next door. Sometimes it could be loud (both people and machinery). From time to time we had fryer or cooker smells. However, these things were occasional and did not diminish our enjoyment.
Our communication with the owner was excellent and we always had a prompt reply.
We highly recommend Casa del Sol.

Beach Time
We had a wonderful week at this upstairs/downstairs combo and would definitely stay here again if it worked out. The beach was super close and the house had a ton of little things that helped make the stay fun. Parking seems to be at a premium in this area and it was great to have so much of for our group.
Much to our surprise, there is a great restaurant just to the south that is very walkable. Great food too!

The Beach House
The minute my family arrived they fell in love with the house and location. My children and their spouses and grandchildren enjoyed playing volleyball, badminton, fishing, and walking on the beach. My Son-in-laws and grandson enjoyed the golfing nearby. My granddaughter enjoyed her time flying a kite on the beach.
My wife and have been married 50 years, so, we renewed our wedding vows on the beach with our family in attendance. Also, my first granddaughter who is blessing us with a great grandchild in January had a baby shower with family in attendance.
Since we do Thanksgiving with family about every two years, we would be looking for something exactly like this Vacation House in 2023. Thank you for allowing our family to stay in Vacation House.
