We had a fabulous time staying at Villa Marco. A great Villa in a quiet location with good amenities. Such a relaxing holiday and we made the most of the swimming pool so much so we didn't want to leave. Lovely walks to the old harbour with stunning views. Maybe a struggle for some people on the way back as it is uphill, but don't let this put you off as a taxi was only 2.5 euros. Sadly we didn't get to meet our host Sonja, but she was always available if we had any questions and provided a lovely welcome pack for our arrival and checked to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend staying at this accommodation.

Nice comfortable villa in a quiet location. Lovely big pool and lots of outdoor seating. A short 10 minute walk takes you into the hub of the old town. It’s uphill on the way back which may not suit everyone but we found it ok. We walked to Puerto Calero along the coastline which takes around 25 mins from the villa where there are nice restaurants overlooking the marina. We got a water taxi back to Puerto del Carmen which was a nice way of seeing the coastline. Sonja as our host was very welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location is exceptionally convenient in terms of access (by car) for exploring the whole island and its variety of scenic walks and visitor attractions. Likewise access to supermarkets and restaurants is within easy walking distance from the villa. Free parking space was available at all times on the road immediately outside and visible from the kitchen window. The outdoor garden area is lovely, with a beautiful, large, heated pool, which, in March, was a real bonus because it was never too cold! The pool is very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with an insulating cover for night-time. We would recommend Casa Marco as an excellent base for a holiday in Lanzarote. Thank you Sonja!

Had an excellent 10 nights ar Casa Marco. Messaged Sonya when we got into the villa and she popped over next day to introduce herself. Perfect location with Spar and numerous eating places about 3 minutes walk at Montana Tropical. We have been coming to Lanzarote for over 15 years and always pick villas with heated pools. This pool is one of the largest we have had and it was good to get a proper deep end for diving games retrieving sinking toys. In all my years this is the first time i have had a cleaner use a hoover in the villa. As soon as i returned home i checked to see if it was available in September but it looks booked up for my dates. Sonya is always a message away to address anything as required. Thankfully we had no reason to get in contact apart from being sociable from time to time. Will come back when dates align. Sell done Sonya, keep up the good work.

Fantastic location, really easy cab ride from airport. Walk to local shops and restaurants and nice stroll to coastal path with lovely views. Sonja was lovely and super helpful. House was well equipped, great newly refurbished bathrooms and fantastic pool and outside area.

The communication with Sonja was excellent and she was very responsive- for example, it was a bit cool in the evenings the first week we were there and she provided us with a heater. It is within walking distance (5 minutes) of a small spar where you can get most of what you need, as well as a bar and a couple of restaurants (Mario’s is excellent). The marina is about a 15 minute walk and there are a host of bars and good restaurants there. We also walked to Puerto Calero a couple of times (around 30-35 minutes) where there is a very pretty marina and a lot of restaurants. Being on the edge of Puerto del Carmen it was very easy to get onto the main road system for visiting everywhere else on the island. We hope to be back again soon if Sonja will have us!

Everything I expected, and more. The property is wonderfully furnished, and with lots of personal touches. Perfectly located to enjoy all that Lanzarote has to offer, and the host could not have been more friendly and helpful. Will certainly be returning!

This Villa simply perfect, it had everything we wanted and needed. Great location just above the old town harbour, with local bars and supermarkets all within a few minutes walk. Sonya was fantastic throughout, gave us all the info we needed ahead of arrival, really important given the restrictions. The starter items left in the apartment to get us going we’re gratefully received, thankyou. We look forward to staying again.

Great Villa in a quiet place. Well maintained. Lovely pool and private outdoor space. Within easy walking distance of great restaurant, bars and well stocked supermarket. Would recommend.

Good communication with the owner from beginning to the end. If there's anything you need to improve your stay, don't hesitate to contact Sonja she will do her utmost to help. The property is in a quiet residential area and is a 15 minute walk along a promenade to the old harbour where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Be aware that this is downhill and you have to walk back up again. Mario's restaurant is very close and serves good basic food at a reasonable price. It was wonderful having a warm pool for swimming; so many pools in Lanzarote are not heated enough in the winter.

Lovely villa in quite neighbourhood 10 mins walk from old town. Supermarket and restaurants close by , few minutes walk . Welcome pack on arrival , which was nice . Very spacious , comfortable and bright with nice size heated pool , would definitely return.

Just returned from a fantastic 12 days stay. The villa has great sized rooms and the bathrooms have fantastic showers. Since we were only 2 people, we had a lot of space, which should be enough for 6 people also. The pool is lovely as it is large enough to have a proper swim in and it gets the sun all day long. There is plenty of space around the pool and there are enough comfortable sunbeds. The villa is in a great, quiet location with a supermarket (Spar) just around the corner as well as bars and restaurants (e.g. Marios). It’s a short walk down into the harbour where are plenty of restaurants and pubs. The communication with Sonja, the owner, was perfect which made booking easy. Sonja is very friendly and helpful. We would like to stay here again.

Just returned from a fantastic week in Villa Marco. The villa has great sized rooms and the bathrooms have fantastic showers that are really powerful. For those that like their TV, all English channels are available and there is also a DVD player. The pool is lovely as it is large enough to have a proper swim in and it gets the sun all day long. There is plenty of space around the pool and ample comfy sun beds are provided. The villa is in a great, quiet location with a Spar just around the corner as well as bars and restaurants (Marios Italian is lovely). It’s a short walk down into the harbour where there are plenty of other restaurants. The communication with Sonja, the owner, was very good which made booking easy and painless. Sonja is very friendly, helpful and responsive and seems to go the extra mile for her guests. Won’t hesitate in booking again.

Sonja the owner was there to welcome us on arrival and show us round the property. It was everything that we were looking for and the large heated pool was a big plus for us. It has that 'home from home' feel about it and waking up to catch up on the U.K. news channels on the TV was indicative of this. As our stay was a 2 person rental we can only say that there seemed to be plenty of space and accommodation for more people. There's good Wi-Fi signal and there's internet connection available via the smart TV. Free parking is available on street. Highly recommended.

Beautiful villa in nice quiet location, yet still close enough to get to bars, restaurants and shops. Quiet, away from the roads. Large pool gets the sun from morning until night and we all loved that! Was nice to have a few welcome things on arrival. Comfortable and accommodated our party of 5 people easily. Will be back.

Villa was nice, pool area nice. Lots of space, only thing I would say was inside wardrobe areas needed a paint and the micro wave needed put in the bin as it was old and interior rusting. Kitchen has seen better days too. I would return though.

We expected pool temperature to be warmer . The villa was cold at night but this is probably a winter issue . Otherwise all was great . Maybe it might be a good idea to get some heaters in for the winter time .

Wow what a find this villa was. Couldn’t believe our luck when we arrived and it was exactly as described. Sonja was very welcoming and loved her personal art work around the villa. The villa is down a beautiful quiet road very easy to find . Four of us stayed ( 2 adults , 2 kids ) and there was more than enough space. 2 beautiful large bathrooms and 3 very good sized bedrooms . Loads of hanging space too. Lounge is very spacious with satellite tv showing a lot of English channels , WiFi was very good . Outside the villa is lovely , plenty of sun loungers aswell as bbq area and a large table and chairs so all catered for. The pool was fabulous my boys spent hours in there. Lovely size and nice and warm. It was so secluded and quiet we felt we were the only ones in the area , it was bliss. The location is great a short stroll to a very good Italian restaurant or a futher ( 15 min ) stroll along the harbour to the old town where there are lots of nice places to eat and drink. A walk to the strip took about 20/25 mins but was a pleasant walk so the time flew. We loved everything about Casa Marco and didn’t want to leave. I can’t recommend it enough. 5 out of 5 for sure Thank you Sonja for sharing your lovely villa

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Marco. Sonja met us on arrival to show us around and had kindly placed some beer and water in the fridge and a bottle of wine in the kitchen - thank you. First impressions met all our expectations and we were not disappointed with any aspect of this spacious and stylish house, including the newly refurbished and elegant shower-rooms. The master suite is lovely and private in its own wing of the house and its ensuite is so very spacious. The pool in the rear garden was superb clean and sparkling, sunny all day long with loads of terrace space. Lots of towels and sun beds in numerous places. Quiet and private. Loved it to bits and swam 3 or 4 times every day. The whole stay was a real treat we barely went out save to the local supermarket and Italian restaurant down the road. if you feel more energetic try the cliff top walk to Costa Calero (about a 90 minute round trip), or walk down into the old town/harbour area.
