Fireplace was absolutely wonderful and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious and the morning staff lovely and sociable.the room was beautiful and very comfortable.

1. Disappointed the evening of the parade as we were there for Carnival and asked the front desk our best transportation option to the parade and they stated a taxi- so they arranged a taxi for us but it never showed up and they were nonchalant about the whole thing meanwhile it was meant to be a highlight of our entire trip coming from Texas! Very sad to have missed it! 2 weird experience with house keeping. The 4 days we were there, we only had housekeeping twice and we had to ask for it the first time meanwhile the housekeeper was so angry about cleaning a family’s room on the same floor and kept complaining about how dirty they were and she made us wait for the services for our room for over 1.5 hours yet we had vacated our room the entire morning from 7-11 am and simply wanted to go back and nap in our room. I suspect that they were short staffed but that coupled with a communication problem?

Location was very good, just a few blocks from the main center. Perhaps for older people not so convinient, because you have to go up the hill. The gym is small, but has everything you need to work out. Coffee machine in the room, and in the lobby. Wine glasses too. Excellent heating system.
