The lobby was nice

The breakfast was picked over, dining room a disaster, dining room attendants were aloof and in interested in fixing anything. The pull out bed was old and spring points poking my kids. This was the worst stay at an embassy I’ve ever had.

Lots of selection. Well prepared. Hot and cold choices.

Excellent food, ate at both the restaurant for dinner and included breakfast buffet. Made to order omelets and French toast were divine. Lots of quick options also. Our kids loved it.

Needed more pillows for pull out couch bed but hotel was out. Otherwise exceeded all expectations.

Parking

The properly is fairly centrally located in Anchorage, close to the airport and central downtown business area. Large suites make it a good option for those needing two different sleeping areas. The onsite bar and restaurant are a nice option if arriving late or departing early. Check in was easy and very quick. The property, while a bit tired, was kept very clean.

I have stayed in more modern versions of this hotel chain. The budling is more akin to an older Day's Inn than the Embassy Suites I have stayed at in other cities. The rooms are a bit dated (but clean and well kept). The sofa bed had an extremely thin mattress, ok for you kids but i think anyone over 12 would be very uncomfortable sleeping on a mattress like that. The area around the property is a bit of a more business/industrial district. The location worked great for our purpose, but would not be my first choice for a longer stay or vacation.

Lovely pre dinner drinks (two each) and nibbles were provided and our meal at the restaurant was fantastic! Breakfast was great as well. Close to a supermarket. Nice spacious rooms. Able to leave our bags in storage on early arrival and late checkout.

Rooms are a bit dark but nothing major, a little bit out of the main town but a nice little area all the same

The lady that worked the desk on the evening of August 6, 2023 was friendly and helpful.

Food during breakfast was short. I did not get to each fresh fruit. The tray was empty. I look forward to to eating fresh fruit in the morning.
