Close to ferry and located close to off site restaurant. Staff were friendly. Nice view from window. Bed was comfy.

Registration/sign in took a while due to another patron. Restaurant closed 30 min after we arrived from ferry so needed to find other location. Went to local restaurant and service was equally slow. It was a hard time due to hurricane Fiona and lots of work was being undertaken in town. Uncertain if our stay was reflective of a regular time in Port aux Basques. It was an expensive stay for what was offered.

Couldn’t find the switch for the light over the sink. Light in bathroom came on. Maybe just a burnt out bulb? I forgot to tell the clerk when I checked out.

If you need to take the Newfoundland day ferry, this hotel is perfectly situated at the harbour with a restaurant and bar.

The breakfast was very good. Room was nice, clean and comfortable.

Great place to spend the night if you are catching the ferry to NS, the room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed a delicious supper in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning was good, my room had a nice view of the ocean with a beautiful sunrise, will stay again when I am back on the Rock.

There is a restaurent within the hotel witch is very convenient, however the food is expensive and not good. I had the Fisherman's platter, and ask to replace the startch with a salad, an upcharge of $4. I reveived a $27 food order. Wasn't worth 1/2 of that. The scallops were the size of marbles and so overcooked.
