Check-in was very helpful, and the waitress at breakfast was extremely nice

Location was very good. The amenities and parking were very good. The check in staff and bar staff were very friendly.

House-keeping friendliness wasn't there. Counter in bathroom was extremely high. No place to hang up a towel. Breakfast restaurant not good. Table very sticky. Server blamed cleaned cleaner instead of just wiping it. Asked for coffee and juice, waited at least 5 minutes. Decided to go. Menu wasn't good or buffet. There is a very good breakfast place 1 block away that was very good and professional.

Tub bottom was narrow and really rounded. It was uncomfortable to stand on while taking a shower. Otherwise everything was great.

location was great. bathroom was clean, beds and pillows were great. staff was accomodating. Emma at the front desk went above and beyond helping me when i got stuck in the parking garage when their bar codes didn't work. She even gave us a discount since there was a gas leak and we didn't have hot water for showers the next morning.

not enough parking, had to park across the street in a dark parking ramp. Glad I wasn't by myself. The hotel itself is old and run down and not very clean. When we returned Saturday night there was a natural gas leak and 911 was called. Then, we didn't have ANY hot water to take a shower on Sunday morning. The bar code the front desk gave me still wouldn't cover the parking fees at the ramp I was told to park in. After a call to the front desk, Emma from the front desk, walked another bar code over which still didn't work. She reimbursed me for the amount I had to pay on my card.

food voucher for 3 guests was only 24 dollars. breakfast was $15 so the voucher wouldn’t cover more than one person. ended up not using it at all and went somewhere else

Room was dirty - even found some belongings from old guests under side tables & behind couch.

Breakfast was served from a menu, not the standard motel breakfast buffet.

loved that it was right across from five flags; we were in town for the Cody Jinks concert, and it was awesome to be so close!

There was no convenient parking. I had to park in bottom level and climb three flights of stairs ( no elevator). With a bad knee that was extremely hard. Bathroom was not clean. I then had dirty water gurgling out of bathtub drain. The front desk clerk gave me points and was very nice about it. She couldn't give me a refund as I prepaid through a 3rd party.

The restaurant needs to be updated. The bar needs help. Infrastructure is poor. No beverage menu. Glass of wine $19. Really? This is a Holiday Inn in Iowa. Disgraceful. I know I can buy the same bottle of wine in. grocery store for $19 or less.

It's in a great location within walking distance of good restaurants and attractions the beds were comfortable and the room was spacious for my kids and myself.

The upcharge for breakfast wasn't worth it. It was nothing more than a continental breakfast that most other hotels would offer for free. The Kleenex's were wet, lights were burnt out and the hair drier didn't work when my daughter tried to use it.

The room was over priced for what I got. The bed wasn't comfortable and the heater didn't work it cold all night.
