Location was on the beach, the view from our balcony was excellent
no pool, no tour advice, no transportation advice, no friendly advice of where to go what to see. The Outrigger was next door and I recieved all my information from there.

Castle Waikiki Shore Beachfront Condominiums are right on Waikiki Beach and just steps away from restaurants and Waikiki's malls. Unobstructed views across Fort de Russey Park to the beach, ocean and sunsets made this an outstanding location.
Renovations to reception were a little inconvenient, but no real problem, but bitterly disappointed that our last day was spoiled by a neighbouring guest who was unable to understand that this was a non-smoking area, with no designated smoking areas.

The location was perfect, and the rooms were very spacious.
When we arrived, there was no handsoap or dishwasher soap in the room. We called down to the front desk and were told it could be delivered to the room, but it never arrived. Additionally, the television had lines of corrupted/broken spaces on the screen and would not work properly. We had to call twice for management to send someone to fix it. The AC also leaked terribly in the room, it soaked through multiple towels until we placed one of the two (small) trash cans in the unit underneath the unit. This was not fixed during our stay, despite us telling management about this issue and us being told it would be fixed.

The room has got a big window, so you can get great water view and nice breeze.

the location was great, the rooms were ok, The twin beds had sagging mattresses, the king bed was comfortable. There was very limited cooking utensils. I had one small frying pan to use to make breakfst for 6 people. I had to cook in shifts. Also there was only 1 working elevator. We took the stairs most of the time(we were on the 7th floor so that wasn't that much of a problem for us) this would've been a problem for some people. The location and view made up for the negative things.

Fantastic location right on the beach and next to park. Great views from the rooms. Did like that it is private and only residents can get in.
Definitely could use a little updating in the rooms. Pillows were not comfortable, way too soft. A few more amenities in room (sponges and cleaner to help wipe counters as there is no housekeeping during the stay).

The location was great. Wonderful access to the beach and neighboring hotels as well. The condo was roomy & clean, although I did see a small roach the day b4 I checked out, but no other ones. The beds were comfortable with the exception of the let out sofa. It could use a better mattress, it was really springy. But all & all the sleeping was comfortable.
There was only one elevator working for everyone & it ran pretty slow. So coming & going to quote awhile. Luckily we were on the 3rd floor, so we uses the stairs going down whenever we had no luggage or lots of bags. There were not enough towels to go 2 full days without washing. If there were more, we wouldn't have had to ask the reception for laundry soap so many times during our stay.

we stayed in a studio apartment overlooking the ocean, the room was clean, the kitchen had everything you need for cooking. We had dinner on the balcony watching the sunset. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The location was great although there was construction going on so it was very loud but we were not there most of the time. Staff was nice.
There was only one of everything. There was only one roll of toilet paper. There was only one small powder detergent when the wash says to use the pods. There is only one trash bag in the bathroom and kitchen and you have to ask for more. Also, there is just a divider for the "room" and not a door. So even though it says one bedroom, there is no privacy if traveling with your kids or another couple.

Ocean view (we were on the 12th floor), which is nice to have when the weather doesn't cooperate. Location on the beach is nice - just don't expect to swim (more swimmable down by the Armed Forces center).
Single elevator caused long delays. Beach is too rocky for swimming. Studio room is TINY, but the lanai helps (a lot). Lots of little stuff that would be so easy to fix: Kitchen has neither oven mitts nor, BION, measuring cups (nor are they available - we asked). Coffee supplies handed out as though they were made of gold. No beach chairs or umbrellas included (how much would that really cost?) No doormat or "bristle mat" to get the sand off your shoes.

This location met all of my needs. Everything was within walking distance, shopping, night life, marina, and of course the beach with rentals of chairs umbrellas and paddle boards, very nice shaded sitting area with grass and tennis courts also nearby beach front steak shack all on the property or in walking distance.

being right on the beach was perfect. The view from our suite was amazing and the sunsets were just beautiful! I loved having a balcony and used it every day. I felt very secure staying there with the fob and door code to my suite. Lots of nice and convenient places within walking distance.
They only had 1 working elevator which was a pain. There was no on-site restaurant only fast food type choices. Even on the top floor with no food on the counter, we had bugs there every day, not big ones but was still gross. Appreciated the washer but it was very noisy.

Great location friendly staff. Beach access very central.
Using a booking engine is not the way as additional charges are missed and complaints my not be solved at the reception desk which is open 9am to 9pm so arrival outside those times tricky. I requested a quiet room and got one next to the lift which clearly was below the standard of the room advertised. Rooms are only cleaned at a fee, but no vacuum cleaner or mops.

The staff was exceptional. Very friendly, very helpful. Fairly close to everything.
The room we stayed in needs updated carpet as it is old, stained. Get rid of carpet completely. The beds were not great. Sofa bed is pretty bad. Very minimal kitchen supplies for cooking. Could not make a big dinner there. Also, Be aware that the beachfront at this condo is rocky and hard to access for an older person. Will have to walk a ways to get to a sandier beach. Each unit is individually owned, so what you get depends on what the owner provides. NO POOL! For the price it seems a little pricy without a pool.
