Facilities are due for an upgrade. Felt like an old, outdated apartment. Still, very good value for the price.

Very well located. The appartement is big. The bed are comfortable. The linens and the bathroom are clean.

The carpet is very old, with a lot stains. It smells the old carpet. They should change it or replace by a wooden floor. The kitchen is not equipped enough (no blender, no drainer).

The WiFi but it didn’t really matter in the end we didn’t need it .Everything was perfect.The room was fresh and clean .The kitchen was a wonderful bonus .I loved the windows in everyroom and they opened. Air circulation was excellent and it was so quiet in room 315

Great location, on the very edge of the busier parts so the streets around at quiet. Rooms very spacious and very clean. It's no Ritz, but it's not trying to be. Charming old school hotel.

If you have a lower room and someone is staying above, it is very noisy when they walk around. The flooring above is very creaky. The heating system is very loud and will wake you if you need it on, advise turning it off before bed.

very overpriced for the accommodation! very tired and in desperate need of renovation. unfortunately our room 208 backed onto a road that had bins emptied every morning at 6am - very loud! Constant disrupted sleep.

The location is just great. Its 5 Minutes walking distance to either Santa Monica Pier or the railway station to get to downtown or Hollywood. Its also easy to reach by car and the location offers parking space. Parking seems to be quite expensive (about 21 $ a day) but you won't find a public parking spot there easily and nearby parking garages are much more expensive. The pool is nice and heated, the apartments are comfortably big. The staff was super friendly the whole time we stayed there. There are no eating options inside the hotel, but the appartments have a fully equipped kitchen and nearby you will find all the restaurants that you look for. A choice of small groceries is also nearby and the next bigger supermarket Vons is a 5 minutes car ride.

The interior of the apartment was a bit outdated and used (but clean) and the dishes and cutlery were a colorful mixtures of various sets and for 4 people (we were only two) it might not have been enough.

If you come from Las Vegas and hyper modern facilities you'll turn up your nose for at least five minutes. My wife did that. It's like living in a 1960s film: the carpet on the floor, the obsolete furniture and the whole structure and facilities (including the pool). After the first shock you get used to it and appreciate every single detail. The absolute cleanest and safest hotel we stayed in, during our holiday. The windows are so old and not insulating, but luckily the area is relatively quiet (we're in LA.. do not forget that). The girl at reception, Maria, is very client oriented and super lovely. We were maybe lucky but, while staying there, the other guests were so silent! it felt like being the only guests and the structure was fully booked! I think this kind of place does not attract noisy groups or teens on holiday and is ideally located, away from the hustle and bustle of LA. It's not an hotel room, its an entire apartment. Very spacious. Fabulous

Value for money should improve, to be honest, or reduction on price; it costs more than any 5 star hotel we have stayed in; It needs renovation with window insulation, carpet removal, air conditioning, though we liked the old style feeling the building has. During peak summer we think it is unlivable; we stayed at the end of September and we had to lock ourselves in the house in the dark, to keep sun and heat out. In the evening it was fortunately cool but during the day it was very hot. Bring a sleep mask. Blinds are not sufficient if you are used to sleep in the dark.

Location was excellent and the staff was friendly. Swimming pool was a nice bonus.

There was a lot of problems with the wi-fi connection. Also floors weren't cleaned that well by the cleaners.

I liked the large kitchen to prepare meals and the size of the living room. The building has features from the mid-century which are quaint and effort is put into the maintenance. For the area and price, I would stay here again.

The leaves from the Eucalyptus tree had fallen on the patio and were not swept away ... but the trees were so pretty it did not matter.

Very thin walls, you can follow your next door neighbours conversations and it woke us up occasionally. Furniture and kitchen supplies are very old.
