Location was good but this was not luxurious especially given the price. Place is old and tired
Staff was great - friendly and helpful
Old and tired. HVAC needs an upgrade. Ant traps all over the kitchen area. Inconsistent from room to room. We requested a room change after the first night. No where to put any clothes other than a small amount of hanging space. No dresser. Bathroom in both rooms had deteriorating tile/grout. Bathtub needed to be refinished in second room.

Unique arrangement. Very quiet at night - excellent breakfasts.
Could not communicate w/front desk without physically going there - had to walk outside, across street & down a block.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is a nice step up from the normal continental offering at other hotels. Our suite was clean, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. We found the location quite convenient.
We could not get our fireplace to work. The staff investigated promptly, but unfortunately determined the unit required service. There were extra blankets available and they kept us comfortable watching a late night movie.

Room was charming
A late check in and I had to find my own building. Sweet property with a lot of separate buildings and rooms. No night clerk to help.

The staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and was the highlight of our stay. I could eat those fresh and warm muffins every day.
Room was a bit shabby.

Location and staff
Bed was too high and difficult to get into and the hot and cold water connections were switched burned hand.

Convenient location, but very quiet area. it was very peaceful. The staff was fantastic. They were very helpful, going above and beyond courteous service. I will forever be grateful for the owner, Neil, and his staff. Will definitely stay again next time I am in Santa Fe. Also very dog friendly!!
I did not have any complaints.

The property was just a short walk to the plaza and numerous shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfy and I especially liked the little courtyard with the fountain, it had chairs and tables with umbrellas for resting & reading. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were also traveling in a small RV (24 ft) and were able to park it in their lot for free.
We were there for a 2 night stay and had to change rooms after the first night as the A/C was broken in our room, therefore our first night was very uncomfortable. The A/C controls were less than self explanatory so we just continued to try to control it ourselves but the next day when the maintenance person checked it out for us they confirmed it was actually not working and gave us a different room.

Location was perfect to walk to Plaza, shopping etc. Breakfast to order--awesome!! Highly recommend!
gravel was tough to bring luggage across. Parking was limited--yet understandable with the high demand area.

The breakfast was excellent. Neil was a delightful host, and Noah did everything possible to make us happy. Bonus? Cookies!
Nothing. It was all great!

Breakfast items were prepared individually by staff and were excellent. Staff were polite and efficient, and answered questions about near attractions. Location was convenient to downtown Santa Fe, although the surroundings were somewhat run down.
The room needed repairs. For example, the entry door had traditional mechanical locks (deadbolt and doorknob lock) and the two keys were difficult to turn. When the door was closed, it did not seal properly and there was enough of a gap to let in light, wind, and possibly other things. The faucet on the bathroom sink tended to splash and this could have been fixed with a new aerator on the water outlet. Between the bathroom and bedroom, fasteners that secure the threshold plate were missing and the plate was loose. We found that the standard digital thermostat on the wall was not connected to the heating and cooling unit and, although it showed the room temperature, it did not control the air circulation or temperature. We learned after talking with the staff that the heating unit was controlled by a remote mounted on the wall. Unfortunately, the remote control was not very intuitive and was difficult to use. Also, it reported temperature in centigrade, which, although not a problem for us, is not familiar to many American visitors. In general, although the staff were great, breakfast was excellent, and the bed was comfortable, the room was in need of updating while maintaining its historic nature.

it was a little tired.

the proximity to the square
the unique casita and the furniture inside
bed was very comfortable
old and run down inside
not at all updated like the photos on booking.com
cigarette smell
fridge froze items inside
clean but not deep clean-under bed, behind tables
ant traps in all rooms
-barely 2 “complimentary” logs-seems like you could provide an actual bundle
-was told room would be made up on second day and it was not
-bathroom kind of rundown-tub faucet on verge of falling off, window in shower had a very large gap so we had a very cold breeze.

The property is well located. facilities ( we had a kitchen) superb. owners clearly take a great deal of time focussing on the little details. breakfasts are superb and can also buy coffees / ice cream out of hours. we considered this the best place we have stayed in NM, although clearly Santa Fe is more expensive than other areas and we paid up for this property.
we can’t identify anything.

not much
Stated parking was close to the room. Parking was very tight and my room was like going through a maze. The gate that was coded was kept open by a rock. The last thing was I was going to take a shower but the faucet would only spin like the threads were stripped. I contacted the front desk and ask the clerk if there was some magic that turned on the water he stated “No just turn the water on and pull up the shower knob. Really I’m 61 I think I have that figured out. He said he would send maintenance if they were still there I asked if they are not and I got the to bad attitude. I asked if I could change rooms he said not possible. The conversation got slightly heated he said he didn’t like the way I spoke to him and hung up!!! This guy must have missed the day they taught customer service. I packed up my stuff started out of the property when a elderly lady that had come out of her room ask “what wrong do you not feel safe”
Omg what does she know. I dropped the keys off to the desk probably had a few more choice words for him. Did I receive the worst room in the hotel because I booked on booking.com? Apparently there must be some safety questions. I checked into another hotel.
