Loved the view of the lake, and close to restaurants and shopping. Really close to airport
Stairs are tough to drag a suitcase up
Mattress was older and springs were uncomfortable

When I arrived, the check in window was closed. A sign said “closed for shift change”. Since my room was paid and no refund was possible, I had to wait in a poorly maintained waiting area for 45 minutes for someone to show up and check me in. And without prior notice, I was charged a 75 dollar deposit on the room. The deposit was refunded at check out, but my room was poorly maintained, dirty, and big infested. Their was NOTHING “budget about the stay.

Bed was comfortable and although our stay was short, it was very convenient to get to the airport which was my goal since flight was very early. the agent at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.

Coffee machine in the room didn’t work, towels seemed very used. Phone didn’t work.

Worst reception ever
Checking was shocking! I wrote to the hotel that our flight was delayed 4 hours. I called them too Informing that we will arrive late due to flight delays. When we arrived the receptionist said that we do not have our room. It was assigned to another person and that hotel is fully booked. Imagine how we felt at 3.30am in the morning traveling with small kids. So we were left without a room until the lady cleaned a room for entering... The worst experience in am hotel reception ever.

Convenient to the Sandford airport. Pool is nice.
A few different times missing hair dryer, late night arrival tv not working, smoke detector beeping. Although minor inconveniences I enjoyed the rooms and will continue to return. I've been there about 6 times so far.

Since we arrived they gave us the key to the room giving the same room to another person, half an hour to solve the problem, once solved they give me a room and when I went to the supermarket they had taken my things from the room leaving it clean without having finished my stay , the manager never appeared and the employees were rubbish, because of their mistake they gave me one more night, I am not interested in staying one more night in that sty of a place, sheets gnawed by mice, the rooms stank of humidity, the worst experience of my life I would never recommend it, I prefer to sleep on the street

Location to the airport.
Roaches everywhere took our socks off and the were filthy, we are calling the Samford Health Dept. today and reporting them ! Also we went to the front desk and voiced our concerns and they could have cared less and there would be no refund so we could find another hotel !

in an area that didn’t feel safe, ice machine was broken, no coffee in lobby, area didn’t feel safe.

The area
Rooms were dirty and smelly, room had water on the ground next to extension cord and roaches. Nasty people staying in the hotel and walking around. The pillows weren't even pillows , they had no support and so small, bed was so uncomfortable and no blankets.

Bed was wet asked for clean sheets was told they only had one flat sheet clean had to share the other bed with my co-worker. Really wanted to change both bed sheets the guy at the desk said no one would be in until 11pm to wash bed sheets really crazy.

Great customer service. Friendliness was unlimited. It feel like home. Keep up the good work budget inn. You have a dynamic staff.
