The location

We had stay at a LaQunita in Des Moines on August 4th so I was expecting the same facility. This property was old and smelly. Our room smelled moody. For the amount we paid I expected more since I paid the same amount in Des Moines.

The room is smelly, so I had to sleep with the window and curtain open all night. I can smell the detergent used to cover the odor, but it actually made it worse. I recommend the staff take some time to clean the room, not necessarily thoroughly, but with a little diligence.

What breakfast? Staff reported a tour group ate all the food early. This is B.S! They knew him many reservation they had but didn’t bother to accommodate the number. Staff attitude was indifferent regarding the situation. No apologies .

Location was great.

The room had a lot of problems. Hole in curtain, baseboard Peeling off, missing floor transfer piece, door lock broke, a d a few other things that I didn’t take pictures of.

The outside was nice, the lobby and dining area were nice

The hot tub wasn't working, the breakfast was not good, the room had peeling wallpaper and a nasty spot on the floor by the bed, and on the wall. The carpets in the hallway are filthy and stained

Was as clean as I’d like it and I booked a double queen room and the beds were fulls not queens extremely uncomfortable

Refrigerator had freezer. Courteous, friendly staff. Very clean room with walk-in shower.

Run down hallways. Needs a very deep clean everwhere

Clean it and repair. Bathroom was good and modern which was a plus. Fridge didn’t work. 4 runs to office from 2floor as let’s would not work. Reception was very patient and helpful. Breakfast was nice.

The breakfast was great and the lady attendant was very helpful and kind. We also enjoyed the nice clean and warm swimming pool with ample towels.

They allow pets with a small fee. Nice grassy area outside for dogs.

Not as clean as it could be. Very noisy! Room doors slam shut if not closed carefully and it’s extremely loud. Location seems to be noisy in general. Road traffic pretty bad, and screaming people at the apartments next door.

I didn’t like the front desk Dodie, she was quite rude. my tv was not working.. she accused me of repeat phoning! I guess someone else was having problems. I asked for tea.. there was none in my room. she said no..what’s there is what you get. I asked for help resolving a fairly substantial overcharge from my last visit on Dec 19 ( the staff that time were wonderful and I gave them a 5 star review) she said take it up with Booking.com ( which I have, but as of yet…no response)
