hot breakfast, clean rooms and hotel staff are friendly

my shower only had Luke warm water 

clean great breakfast staff were nice

smell of pot in the hallway

The breakfast was good

Our air conditioner was broken

Staff and lack of manager being AVAILABLE were atrocious. At check in informed of $185.00 room disabled. Asked for Military Discount - offered $2.00. If I have ever been insulted, a $2.00 military discount for a $~185.00 room reaches the epitome of insults. This is akin to being spit upon returning from Vietnam in 1967. No manager was ever available at check-in or out. The clerk would not call the manager. said when and if available I could speak to her. Apparently, the management does not like the Military and chooses to display an attitude thru the place of employment. I was given a regular room - no disabled amenities in the room. checked on this and informed me I had to request a "handicapped" not "disabled" room in order to get handicapped facilities. Where I come from the two are synonymous. I was moved to a handicapped room. The bathtub had no seat. no way to get in/out of. I am in a wheelchair., I hope you see some of my points. The EXPRESS in Holiday inn express apparently means get them in get the money and get them out for the next sucker. Needless to say not anything will come of this complaint. This motel was in Ripley West Virginia. If I had been given a reasonable choice, I would have gone to another motel. In the future, I will. 2 divided by 185 = 0.0108. - Respect is in the displayed results, not the advertised promise. Also, I DECLINED the $2.00, Holiday Inn Express needs it more than I need your respect.

Rosa the desk clerk was very professional and knowledgeable and the breakfast was outstanding!

It could be me , my mattress seemed a little uncomfortable
